The campsite was in a good location in that it is close to Lubeck centre but it is not a scenic location.Pitches were of a reasonable size. The facilities were clean, there is a 50 cent charge for a shower on top of the pitch charge for electricity. The receptionist was very efficient when we checked in.Overall an okay campsite.

We have never spent more than two nights here, and it seems normal in this camping. Everything is quite clean. The kitchen is a bit too small and you have to pay for the warm water in the shower as generally in Germany.

The place itself is a bit run-down. There's only one sanitary area which is quite far away from the tent area. Additionally, you have to pay for a hot shower every time you use it🤦🏻‍♀️. Moreover, the campsite is next to a busy road which you hear while sleeping. It's also quite far from the centre.I wouldn't choose that campsite again.

We followed the blue camping signs to this one, which was on the way out of Lubeck. The reception area was bright and welcoming and the receptionist was warm and friendly; thankfully she spoke good English. …

Staff in campsite were unwelcoming and confrontational. This made us feel uncomfortable for our one night stay. Also the campsite is close to a motorway so there is the noise of cars constantly.£27 for a small tent (2 people) per night felt too much because of this.

The pitches are lovely. Really well organised and thought out campsite. Very clean facilities and friendly hosts. Definitely recommend this site. Only stayed for 1 night on our way through but really wished we could have stayed longer

Perfect camping very close to Lubeck. 10 min biking to old town. You can take the local bus, just outside the camping in to old town. The camping sanitary is very fresh and worth the price. We stayed 3 nights

Great camping. A lot of space and a fun playground for kids. And above all, great price!! Lovely staff at the reception and clear instructions about your place. There is also free wifi that works very well. Great place for one or a few nights staying!

We arrived by bicycle on a trek doing the iron curtain trail and wanted to pitch a tent for one night. We were told that there was no space and when we said that we only have a small tent (because, on bikes), the receptionist said there were pitches but there were too many people for the sanitary facilities. I’ve never heard that one before and can’t imagine that a campsite could have too many guests whilst not being full; who thought that out?More to the point, we’ve trekked in France, UK, the Netherlands and Germany and every campsite we’ve visited always had (or made) room for trekkers and I’ve never been turned away from a campsite as a trekker. We asked if there was another campsite in the neighbourhood and were told there was one a few km away; a quick search revealed it to be 16km. The receptionist was not moved by the fact we would have to cycle with all our luggage for another hour in 25+° temperature. Will never go back and will recommend anyone cycling the iron curtain trail to avoid this campsite.
