Not the first time in Lübeck, but the first time at this amazing little location.Upon arrival received a personal welcoming email. The email was mentioning me and my travelling friend by name. Wow - has never tried this kind of personal approach before.Welcomed by Monika with a smile and almost a hug, very warm, very helpful, very informative.Baggage was taken up to the room and down when we were leaving. The room very spacious and cosy and special.Breakfast amazing, homemade, freshly baked, eggs how you wish, fresh pressed juice etc. This is the place to stay and definitely my go to the next time we plan a trip to Lübeck ❤️

A little bit of a walk to old town, but not far at all. This hotel was superb. I emailed ahead and asked for wine and cake and Monika replied swiftly. When we arrived she had baked 2 delicious chocolatey scones, placed a candle and matches and a bottle of wine on the table. My hubby was super happy about that. Monikas breakfasts are freshly prepared for you. She also baked amazing sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls and choc brownies. She was really friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again. The room was spacious with many windows. Maybe a work desk wouldve helped in the room, but there were tables available elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel and very kind staff. We got very good recommendations for drinks and dinner. The breakfast is exceptional, with very good sourdough bread that they make themselves. The location is also ideal, with nice streets around, and close to the Hanse museum. Parking is conveniently close by and affordable.

Lovely, modern, slightly quirky hotel in an old historic building. The owner (s) was very attentive and the service is quite personal.|It feels a little bit more like you’re a guest in someone’s home, but that adds to the charm. …

What a fantastic hotel! Everything is so lovely - the rooms, the styling, the location. On top of that the breakfasts are amazing … and on top of THAT, the owner Nina is incredibly helpful and kind. Not only was Nina always there for us during our stay but when we left I forgot my phone and Nina went to simply amazing lengths to get it back to me. Could not be more thankful!!!

A wonderful small boutique hotel in old town. The hostess is super friendly and helpful and even willing to change breakfast time for us. The rooms are meticulously furnished with antique feel. Nothing to complain here. Highly recommended.

We found Hotel Die Reederin online, and hoped that the description was accurate. It was, and more than that, the proprietor of this lovely Inn, or bed and breakfast, made our stay a memorable one. …

We spent three nights here. It is a beautiful little hotel with the best quality hosts and service. The breakfasts in particular were made and presented with thought and care. We never needed lunch!Die Reederin is located in the heart of Lübeck’s old city, just a stone’s throw from the Hansemuseum (which is also recommended). There are good restaurants close by. The hotel is a sympathetic restoration of an old building, with many reminders of Lübeck’s historic past as a major shipping port.
