Landgasthof Heldenberg

Amazing food, beautiful nature and friendly owners.After arriving 4 hours earlier then expected it was no problem to enter our rooms. There is a guest fridge filled with refreshments in the basement and multiple hiking or cycling routes start just around the corner of the restaurant. The restaurant opens at six and from the terrace you have an amazing view on local nature and fields. The food is of great quality and the owners are really friendly. The rooms were clean and have a large balcony where you can chill. At night we could hear owls and hedgehogs roamed on the field below the balcony which was a great sight. We are definitely coming back!

The room was clean and tidy, the food was amazing (like always in Süddeutschland) and the view..oh my God, it was extraordinary. I will definitely come here again when I'm on tour! I recommend this location..einfach großartig, Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis 1A!!

We stayed in the inn, beautifully located on the edge of the forest, for 4 days.We were warmly welcomed and the service can only be said to be very friendly and accommodating.The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable and there is also a balcony with a beautiful view.The breakfast was very plentiful and left nothing to be desired.And the absolute highlight is the excellent gastronomy, the boss can do something.What is served here belongs to the star category.Simply delicious!We were completely satisfied with the Landgasthof Heldenberg, which was run very humanely and with passion. We will definitely come back!

We can only agree with the term “sergeant” for the waitress (landlady!). We also wanted to choose a place to sit on the almost empty terrace, but were turned away when we pointed out other places and were treated so unkindly that we quickly left the restaurant. By the way, vegetarian creativity is not available to every cook.

We were there on June 13th. there in the evening while eating.The inn is a bit out of the way, but it has a great view.The food was really, really great. Also the dessert. :)Any time

We spent a short coffee break there. From the terrace you have a wonderful view. We felt warmly welcome.The little sweet creation as an alternative to cake was a delight.

Went here with good friends for the second time over the weekend and it was magically beautiful again.The rooms are very clean, nicely furnished and the service leaves nothing to be desired.The location of this family guesthouse, which is run with a lot of heart, makes you immediately forget everyday life and is phenomenal!!!!The absolute highlight, however, is the gastronomy, what is served here is not available everywhere, in our opinion that is the true art of this craft, an extraordinary and more than tasty menu!!!!Many thanks to the entire team at Heldenberg, we are really looking forward to next year.

Went there for a barbecue evening, it was great. The food was just really delicious. We can recommend it with a clear conscience.

This year I spent a weekend at the Landgasthof Heldenberg with good friends for the first time. The first impression? What peace and quiet up here! Remotely above the town in the middle of the nature of the Ostalb. I'm less of a mountain person, but I was also able to let go of everyday life here straight away. The inn is really beautifully located.Did I have excessive expectations for the room? No! It's a country inn and I was super happy with the room. I wasn't disappointed with the facilities, perhaps a bit old fashioned but still very well maintained. In a way, that's part of the charm! Anyone looking for 5-star luxury will be in the wrong place here. It worked for me and I felt very comfortable.Now to the culinary enjoyment! I heard a lot in advance about the very good cuisine. I wasn't disappointed!!! I'm quite picky, but what we were served that evening was absolutely delicious. So my praise and absolute recommendation to the kitchen. One or two chefs can take a lesson from this. Really great.All I can say about the service is that it was very warm and friendly. Be it in the catering industry or in accommodation. The evening was very well attended and the service was very friendly and open throughout.I'm looking forward to being a guest at Heldenberg again.
