My review is about the restaurant, NOT the hotel.We went there at Easter Sunday.The positiv was the taste of the menu. The dishes tasted amazing. Compliments to the cook(s). I liked a lot that you could order more noodles or sauce or other stuff from each dish. The quantity was also good.But my review is "only" 2 stars why.......Well, we waited for ordering 20 minutes to another 30 minutes to get our drinks.They forgot one soup and another waiting time of 45 minutes for the dessert.They had a salad buffet. One of our family members is a vegetarian and she ordered a salad but for that she got a plate and could take what she wanted from the salad buffet. What are the others doing that had a big garden salad with beef or chicken.......!?!?The staff looked kinda all over the place. While the women tried everything to do as good and as fast as they can the men, well... what I saw was talking to others and serving only one dish at a time.For me, the organization was bad. It's really bad.We were there roundabout 3 hours and sorry, that couldn't be right.

I cannot recommand this small hotel and Restaurant. Do not ask for something like a cappuccio there for your breakfast!Quite old fashoned, not in the nice way. Please see my pics here.I get/had better Käsespätzle in the Restaurant of the company where I work, than the one I had there... tasted like Spätzle with Kaffeesahne, little bit of cheese. Very little bit of onions on the Spätzle, surely not as it should be.No chance to use a garage for our bikes, bad :-/Not so expensive, but not good.Even kind of unfriedly...Not easy to understand.Beer was ok, salad too.

Wife and I stayed the night on our way to Wurzburg after seeing the Baldern Castle. Food was very good and recommend the spinach pesto. It was a little difficult ordering since some employees didn't speak English very well and my German is sub par. (the younger employees did speak English fluent) I would rather trade good food and price for fluent English speakers. Almost a year later and I still remember the Pesto.

We visited the Goldenes Lamm inn for lunch and sat down in the small beer garden with beautiful trees. We started with a non-alcoholic tonic spritz with fruit, which was wonderfully refreshing and a perfect opening to our meal.Our main courses – onion roast with homemade spaetzle and oven-fresh sauerbraten with bread dumplings – were excellently prepared. The meat was particularly tender and aromatic, the bread dumplings were fluffy, and the side salad was fresh and crunchy. The tonic spritz rounded off the experience perfectly.The inn's beer garden offers a very cozy atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. Here you can have a very good meal in peace and quiet. A visit is definitely worth it!

We celebrated our wedding there in 2022 and the team was always professionally available both during the preparations and during the celebration.Preparations HZ:During the preliminary discussion and the process, the landlady was always available on site and by telephone with advice and experience. We were able to visit the premises several times and see different seating arrangements for other celebrations. The landlady has offered that guests with some more complicated intolerances are welcome to discuss the food with her individually.HZ celebration:The food was very tasty and everything we ordered was served tasty and freshly prepared. Even when the celebration lasted longer than originally planned, the employees and landlady were friendly and on site until the end (although the landlady continued the next morning with breakfast and a whole day's meal...).Room:Overnight stay in a room suitable for a classic country inn, which we were very satisfied with. The hotel can't do anything about the street or the chiming church on one side of the house. It is therefore very easy to reach and on the other side of the house it is quieter and within walking distance it is very nice in the direction of the cemetery/Jagsttal with a nearby playground.Big thanks to the whole team!We should be happy to continue to willingly support those restaurants that are struggling with an acute shortage of staff and price increases with lunch menus or similar.
