We were always here with the Freiberg Child Protection Association from 2003 to 2007 and it was really nice. It's kept simple, but you'll look back on it fondly. No cell phones, no TV. Lots of exercise, games and fun. ♥️

Unfortunately I cannot agree with the previous speakers! There is certainly nothing wrong with simple furnishings, but the circumstances in this accommodation are absolutely unacceptable. Our larger group of around 20 people, including children, had been registered in this accommodation for around 4 weeks. However, when we were there, we didn't get the impression at all that we had prepared for it. It was dirty and smelled musty. You looked in vain for the fully equipped kitchen described on the homepage. Not every room has a shower and the outdoor area is anything but well maintained. The heating, various sockets and light switches did not work. A power cable had to be laid through the window to supply power to other guests (see photo). We inevitably had to spend the first night there. The next morning the landlady suddenly appeared in the middle of our room unannounced. She didn't even look at the defects described to her. A lot of it was blamed on the previous owner. The defective light switches/sockets were due to the heating being switched off. Apparently the dishes have been lost so many times, so you would have to pick them up from her if necessary. However, it should be expected that a group of 20 people who have arrived self-catering will need dishes, pots, etc. There wasn't even a glass in the cupboard when we arrived. The landlord has only taken over the property since May 1, 2019. She also mentioned that everything was cleaned and washed. However, dust, hair, dirt and animals adorned the rooms and all for a price of €25 per person per night (also for small children) + final cleaning. Bed linen and towels for an additional charge. In addition, not every sleeping space is a proper bed (e.g. folding chair). The various defects were justified by the fact that the property had only just been taken over. One did not get the impression that they wanted to address the problem on site. On the contrary, we were the first guests to complain. I could certainly say more about the accommodation and hospitality, but the pictures speak for themselves. We have been on holiday in the area several times as a larger group, but we have never experienced such a disappointment before. Luckily we found a great alternative at short notice so we could leave after the first night. Conclusion: The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. Not recommended!!!
