Very welcoming family run pension, very nice rooms with space and light, English & German & Spanish speaking staff!. Nice gardens and private parking and no street noise. Coffee and cakes in the afternoon sitting on the terrace very memorable for us. Hope to stay again.

Very friendly reception very late in the evening after Deutsche Bahn had delivered over 2.5 hours late. As nice as the welcome was, the room and the generous breakfast were just as good. Everything sparkling clean. Thank you for the lovely stay at Waldeck!

The guesthouse is in a quiet location. There are enough parking spaces and a locked bicycle garage. Rooms are clean, breakfast was very satisfactory, we were always well looked after.What was unfortunate was that people smoked on the balcony and also downstairs near the lounge, everything moved into the room and I hardly had the opportunity to open the window (balcony door).

A cheap guesthouse in an absolutely quiet location that meets basic needs. Family run, you feel at home, no extravagances.My room was spotlessly clean with fragrant bed linen. Room service is always available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.The breakfast buffet consisted of a few types of cheese, a few types of toppings (slices cut in half), quark, muesli/cereals, meat salad, homemade jams, butter cheese, portioned honey, orange juice, milk, water, butter.I found it VERY hard to get used to the fact that the breakfast places were assigned (reminded me of something...), that the coffee was measured out in the thermos at the place, and that boiled eggs were only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There were already two allocated rolls per person in the basket. It's not for everyone to ask for more.Maybe you should charge a little more for the breakfast, which is priced at €8, and expand it a little. On vacation you want to have something “more” than at home.

It's always nice to visit friends again and again, even after 25 years. We get older, the children grow up, the memories last.The guesthouse is owner-managed and family-run. Even if it is run as a Garni, you can still use the guest room and terrace during the day and evening and get all kinds of drinks.It's only a few minutes walk to the beach
