+ Positives first+ Breakfast was top notch+ Location is quiet and away from all the traffic and tourist areas.+ The sauna area was modern and clean.+ We appreciated the complementary water and fresh fruit in the main areas.+ The grounds are well maintained and beautiful.+ The staff were all very friendly and helpful.- Every place has some negatives.- It was pitch black on the ways to and from the parking lot at night. Thank goodness for cell phone lights.- The “small” furniture in the rooms (bedside tables and writing table) look and feel cheap.-The mattress was way too soft.- The shower was a slip hazard.

The family-run manor house hotel is a true gem and wonderfully combines historical charm with modern comfort. As soon as you arrive, you immediately feel welcome, because the Diembeck family puts a lot of personal effort into ensuring that every stay is unforgettable.A special highlight of the house is the first-class restaurant, where the chef himself is at the stove. Most of the ingredients come from the in-house herb and vegetable garden, the meat comes from the surrounding local forests, some of which we shoot ourselves, and the fresh fish is sourced from the nearby lagoon waters. The regional freshness and quality make every dish a real culinary experience. In addition to the tastefully furnished rooms and the picturesque park, the hotel also offers a small but very nice spa area. A special highlight is the relaxation room, which is located in an old library and offers a fantastic view of the park. Here the Diembeck family ensures the well-being of the guests with fresh fruit and drinks, so that you can relax wonderfully in a stylish ambience. This manor house hotel is an insider tip for everyone who values first-class food, a quiet, exclusive environment and relaxed wellness moments. Absolutely recommended for a relaxing stay full of enjoyment and peace.

The breakfast was sensational. The cake in the afternoon or the drink in the evening were also prepared very lovingly and creatively. The room is clearly below average. Beds lousy. The toilet at dwarf height. The room is not worth the stay.

A relic from the 19th century that, at first glance, promises a charming journey into the past. However, a closer look reveals many weaknesses that tarnish the charm of the old building. While the facade and publicly accessible areas still exude a certain historical charm, the rooms are in urgent need of renovation. The rooms are uncomfortably small and can hardly be surpassed in terms of discomfort. The furnishings are careless, worn out and the French beds are uncomfortable and certainly won't suit larger guests. The lack of a minibar or a small refrigerator in which you could cool drinks is very unpleasant, especially in the warmer months. Given the exorbitant prices for overnight stays, the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. Other 4-star hotels on Rügen offer much cheaper and more comfortable accommodation with better locations.Restaurant also disappoints. High prices, no appealing selection and nothing for people who prefer a plant-based diet. Incomprehensible. My husband emphasized that I didn't “miss” anything when it came to the quality of the dishes. So we can neither recommend the hotel nor the restaurant. As already mentioned, there are many better alternatives that not only offer more comfortable accommodation, but also have more to offer in terms of cuisine. The combination of outdated rooms, excessive prices and an outdated range of restaurants made our visit a disappointment and I don't know which target group would feel comfortable here.
