Happened to show up after check in time but was met by a friendly man who showed us to our room and made his best attempts to understand our crappy German language. Nice room with skylights and view. The room was better than the one we had at a four star hotel the night before! Nice breakfast.

The hotel looked quite good from the outside. It has a large, beautiful terrace. The reception is very small and simple, hidden in a corner. The room with a small bathroom had the charm of a youth hostel. There is also no elevator in this wing. Not so great with heavy suitcases.But it was okay for an overnight stay. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good.It's easy to go for a walk from here, as the castle park, castle, orangery and church are right across the street, as well as the tourist information center and many great houses and lots of blooming rose bushes. The beautiful port of Lauterbach can also be reached after about 2km. There is a bus stop next to the house. The center is nearby, as are small cafes and snack bars. You can drive here with the racing Roland.

I just walked past it. The park around it is just great. Ideal for relaxing and simply switching off. Beautiful old trees and every now and then a view of the Baltic Sea.👌👍🤗 can only be recommended
