Nice place, completely remote. Perfect place to drive around the island of Rügen for a couple of days. Or to stay in. Breakfast is amazing. Dinner menu is mediocre. 3 courses in a hour is way to much. Rather had some more time in between the courses.

Great location; however, be prepared for a mosquito rush! Not all windows have a net, and there is no air conditioner, at summer time which I was there, dawn was around 22:00 - 23:00 ish, and sunrise was around 03:00-04:00, which means you only could keep the windows open for 3-4 hours, and after that sunlight wouldn’t let you get sleep else you close dark thick curtains that made the room warm and uncomfortable for sleeping. You can barely swim in the sea so you have to satisfy yourself with the not very big swimming pool. There is also walking distance from parking to the hotel. I noticed that people in that neighbourhood are not used to foreigners. Hence, not only is communication a challenge, but you also have to bare with the severe and curious looks of the local people; however, the nature and views are fantastic.

First of all, I must say that the hotel is very beautiful and the location is good.Second, the hotel has many facilities and the quality of everything is high, especially breakfast. But there were two main issues that affected all the above benefits and made me not have a good stay:The service has a serious problem. Room service was not responsive, so you should go personally! I waited for more than half an hour to get something from the bar! Every time!I opened the window and killed more than 20 spiders because the net was broken! In the morning, before I left, I asked for room cleaning, but when I came back in the afternoon, no one had come yet! After complaining, they finally came for cleaning, but the dirty towels were still in the bathroom, and I had to look for a cleaner and get a clean towel from her personally! If service is important for you, then it's a bit tricky, but if you care about facilities, then it's your place to go.I added one photo after room cleaning, one photo of our window.

The staff try really hard here, the manager of the hotel walks around at breakfast filling his own plate instead of helping out! Do not be disillusioned by their impressive looking website, having stayed in many proper resorts, this hotel has a very long way to go to achieve that status. The apartments are really nice, great for a family, but never cleaned!! 4 days in a row we put out our please clean room sign and the bread crumbs that were under the table when we checked in were still there at check out!!! May I also add that the so called male room cleaners looked about 15 years old! They would be better suited to testing computer games than cleaning 4* hotel rooms as a job. There was no kids menu. know where to be seen. We asked for it but each staff member told us there was none so our child had to have chips on 2 evenings. On check out the lady told us they did have a children’s menu, we suspect she was covering her tracks at that stage because she was not happy that we were so honestly unhappy to her about the room cleanliness and that we had to pay 15€ a night for a car parking space..Since arriving home it’s very hard to say we are totally satisfied and happy with having spent so much money in this hotel.. there has been an overall hike in prices since the pandemic but you go away from this place feeling absolutely robbed blind!!If I was to sum it up in one word it would be Ripoff.

The place it self is very nice, the food was fresh and was alright, breakfast was great. The junior rooms are spacious but without minibar and air conditioning. Which for a 4 star hotel is required. The staff is majorly very nice except the few occasions where the bartender informed us that room service was not possible and that we had to grab whatever we needed our selfs from the bar. Aswell as when we called the spa and wellness center the employee didn’t speak English and said that we should speak German because we are in Germany. Was a very shocking message and a big embarrassment for the hotel. Thankfully the director took the care of the issue and compensated for the unfortunate events.

Mega Kool!! place to stay, relax and enjoy the natur around. They have rooms and also well equipped appartaments so you can decide how you want to organize your holiday. The restaurant has a very good and delicious dishes. And don't forget to try a pice of kuche from the nice Café and a must is to have a cocktail or dinner while you wait the sundown.

Wonderful start point for tours to Kap Arkona and Hiddensee by bicycle and ferry. The hotel is overall good for biking tours and sun-set watching (over Hiddensee). The hotel has renewed rooms but is quite expensive.
