This campsite is very close to A1. Surroundings are very pretty. The campsite looks as if it needs to be maintained. Pitches are very wet, grass needs to be cut. If you can't find any other campsite then ask for at pitch just outside the gate. Don't go down one of the narrow paths.Bathroom has probably been renovated and are clean.Altogether i wouldn't come back.

Big dissapointment. Had worst camping experience here. 22 euros for a motorcycle and tent on the outside of the camp premises (if you have no reservation and come after 6pm you are indicated to set camp in parking outside).if you camp inside it's 28 eur. Also the pictures of the lake are not from the camp. It's just green lots and trees on edges. The outside camp places are bad and close to busy road (big trucks as of 6am). The owners not friendly. Are there only to collect cash. Avoid.

Place is extremely clean and the fact that it's really close to Hamburg is nice. Toilet paper is in the bathroom! Warm water in the regular sinks. Even a washer and dryer is available.

Small but lovely camp site with good shower and loo facilities. A short walk to the beautiful lake.We stayed in a glamping tent called Great Lake Lodge which was amazing. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with any queries. One of the best dates I have ever had. The pizza from Piccolino is to die for.

This campsite was brilliant, it was in a beautiful location with some excellent restaurants and a bakery near by, it is next to a massive lake that you can swim in. If you needing a peaceful break I would recommend this place! …

Rik and Julia are by far the best hosts I've experienced on my journeys so far. They are knowledgeable about the local area and the services for the flats and camping ground they provide are exemplary. They have made it a joy staying here and I will be coming back not as a client, but as a friend of the family.

A popular place on weekends. Clean facilities, dish washing sinks are free of charge, shower - 0.5€ per 5 minutes, 50 cent coins only. Access to the lake is with a key.

Located by a beautiful lake, clean facilities and friendly staff. The drinking water was of good quality. 4 stars because the Internet stopped working at 23:00 and you need to pay for the shower
