We met there with a group for the weekend. The rooms were clean and large. The service for breakfast and evenings was excellent. Moderate prices. It was well located for our excursions

Fresh paint on the walls would do the room good. Otherwise, I slept well in the room and the breakfast was great. I didn't even take advantage of everything that was offered to us: we would have had breakfast before 8 a.m., a champagne for breakfast and fried, scrambled or boiled eggs... We'll definitely be back!!! Super nice couple that runs the hotel and so unbureaucratic. We were thrilled

The hotel operators are a strange couple, but absolutely nice and somehow they keep the hotel running. The room was clean and the food was really good and tasty. Don't be put off. If you are planning an overnight stay, you should definitely do this. It's not a 4 star hotel, but we were able to enjoy it.

Great hotel run by families!The welcome was super nice (as the Saarlanders do, come and show you the room😁). Rooms clean and comfortably furnished.Always happy again, good price and the breakfast was very varied, we were asked if we wanted scrambled eggs, which we also got, which was very tasty.We'd love to come back!!

We have been to this hotel for the umpteenth time. Simply great. The owners are a hit. Anyone who loves Saarland humor and can handle it. Will spend wonderful hours/days here. The food and the rooms were made with great attention to detail. Here you can simply make recommendations to book a room there.

We came across this hotel by chance. We immediately felt comfortable. The owners welcomed us and our dog in a friendly manner. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The breakfast was rich and the dinner was a dream. Conclusion: Come as strangers and leave as friends

Absolutely NOT recommended!!!We booked this hotel in September 2018 for a weekend stay.After checking into our room (#1) quickly and without any problems, we were amazed at the condition of the room.Dirty magazine and tablets from the predecessorIn a drawer we found a “Sexy” magazine with over a dozen pills – probably from the previous one. Some pages were glued. Disgusting. We confronted the owner directly with this – insight? Excuse me? None!We took pictures of the condition of the room - see attached. Incredible.A short summary:- The curtains were stained with dirt.- The balcony door could not be locked, the left lever was spinning. The door could be easily opened from the outside (balcony is continuous for several rooms).- The wallpaper in the bathroom is peeling off everywhere.- The ventilation in the bathroom – the picture speaks volumes. When was the last time this place was cleaned?- The shower faucet was defective - the temperature of the water could not be regulated.- Several broken ceiling lights in the bathroom- Some drawers in the room furniture were broken and broken out. Impossible to use.- The emergency exit signs are randomly placed on the ground. Here I remind you of “Fire protection concept for hotels and accommodation establishments (VdS 2082)”. I don't have to say anything else about it.- The bed linen was defective and the zipper could not be closed. If the cleaner discovers something like this, you should change the bed linen.- Breakfast: Sunflowers on the table look great, but they lose tons of pollen. The table was littered with them, sometimes even the place settings themselves. There were still crumbs and small leftover food from the previous person all over the table.What was good? We're happy to say a word about that too.- The beds themselves were good, very soft.- The coffee at breakfast was quite acceptable. The breakfast itself was very carelessly prepared. There is no buffet, it is served. The breakfast room is attractively designed. The place settings look nice.When checking out we again informed the owner that we were not satisfied with the stay. A double room for 80 euros (including breakfast) in such a condition cannot be offered to any guest. Instead of showing insight, the owner simply replied succinctly: “I can do without guests like you.”So, we're definitely not coming back. And I am an (exiled) Saarlander, I often go on holiday with the family in the very hospitable Saarland, but I have never experienced anything like this before in Saarland or in one of my many hotel accommodations elsewhere.This is not how you run a hotel sustainably.Due to the owner's ignorance of the poor condition, lack of cleanliness and obvious deficiencies in the building structure and furnishings, we cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances.
