I've spent a few weeks here whilst I was travelling for business. I can only recommend this place for any traveller that is looking for a nice hotel to relax after a long hike or a long day at work. The location is very nice and close to Saarlouis. The rooms are very clean and large. The restaurant downstairs is simply fantastic and I haven't had a bad meal there.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary there. The restaurant and the food were great. The staff super friendly. We booked with an overnight stay and a bottle of wine in the room. The bottle of wine was great chilled but unfortunately we couldn't drink it because there was no opener. The room was clean. There were no sockets on the bed and the fire alarm on the ceiling. The bed was an absolute disaster. It couldn't be worse and at a price of 100 euros without breakfast.A huge crash and squeak with every movement, the mattresses are much too soft. Things didn't get any worse.It's a shame if you spend your wedding anniversary there. We were actually planning a big family celebration with overnight stays next summer, but I can't do that to my guests or us anymore.We will definitely eat there again because there was nothing to complain about at the restaurant but we definitely won't stay there again.

Very good food in a nice atmosphere. In the next room you sit quietly and shielded. You can celebrate there without disturbing others. Prices are top. The location right at the foot of Litermont is great.

Unfortunately the food was the worst we've had in a restaurant for a long time. It's a shame because the menu gave a different impression.The salad that was served with the four dishes we ordered was no longer fresh and had not been washed, which was clearly noticeable.The meat in the main courses was extremely tough.The fruits that were used as a garnish for dessert were also no longer fresh and should never find their way to the guest.The ambience seems inviting at first glance, but a second glance reveals a lot of cobwebs and dusty corners, which can't be in the spirit of the hosts.The service was attentive and friendly.Our conclusion: Unfortunately, this restaurant is definitely not recommended, the price-performance ratio is poor.
