The toilet door is transparent for some reason, there was no soap/shampoo for the showers, and the upstairs floor was creaky which made us hear when the people above were stepping.Other than that the room had everything we needed, and the hotel is one of the closest to the city center.

Good spacious rooms. It is a bit dated but nothing to complain about. Huge bathroom with good powerful shower. Heating was effective. Downstairs is a bar, that is reasonably priced; mainly locals at the bar. Wifi is fast. Staff did not speak English (or French) but they were friendly and we managed to get by. Breakfast is basic. There are a few cafes a few minutes walk away. I would recommend as a good place to stay.

This hotel is basically four or five cosy rooms on the second floor of a pub. The stuff is really nice and helpful, but English definitely isn't a hiring priority. …

There are no parking places near to Hotel Zur Klause. In Deutschherrnstrasse it is limited parking time, only one hour. We parked at a smaller street about 300 meter from this hotel. There was parking allowed at that street. …

✅It has its charm because it is like a country house in the middle of a city.Location: secluded, depends on what you want for, it's good because it's quietJust downstairs they have the bar-restaurantThe room and bathroom are a good size. The restaurant food is not bad❌Everything is quite old, some blinds did not work, it is true what they say that the sheets smelled dirty from the first day. They do not offer soap-shampoo in the shower, only for hands. Access to the rooms is via a very narrow staircase, without an elevator, so if you go with many suitcases or heavy suitcases, it is an ordeal. There is a lot of noise in the mornings from 7-8 and you can hear the beeping of the washing machine, people opening and closing doors, vacuuming.❌❌The shower water is impossible to regulate so that it comes out warm, or it burns or comes out frozen. Also, the shower gets clogged and has a curtain (which seems unhygienic to me) and covers the drain.❌❌Wifi is like there isn't any. They give you access to Wi-Fi but it doesn't even work and disconnects every 5 minutes.❌Of the 3 people we have spoken to at the hotel, none of them speak English (to this day nothing is happening with the translator, but it is something to keep in mind)Regarding the treatment, normal. There is no reception, it is done from the bar.It seems more like a hostel/pension to me than a hotel. It seems expensive to me for what it is

We were there for a weekend with 6 people and were more than thrilled! A great price-performance ratio. Food was very tasty and the service was more than friendly! I can't understand the bad reviews!!! We will check into this small hotel again any time we have the opportunity! The Asbach was very tasty! 😉
