I have no idea why something like this is still offered through well-known booking portals.What awaits you?From the outside it looks like an old motel, the entrance is very inconspicuous. The rooms offered are distributed on one level. There is no reception, instead you have to call a phone number. You will then receive a PIN number for the room. The door handle is half ripped out.The room itself initially makes an acceptable impression. Unfortunately, if you take a closer look, this is deceptive. There are stains here and there (sweat, coffee, etc.). The bathroom has a shower with a broken shower head that is past its prime. What also surprised me is the lack of smoke detectors!As some have already written: A night in transit as an emergency solution is acceptable. Security is also guaranteed here. Cameras are installed everywhere. The rooms do not face the main road. The rooms are a bit noisy, but the window can be left open without any problems. There is definitely a parking space here (private parking lot without barrier).

On September 26th, 2024 I reserved a room in the Pension Scheiber Hof in Neunkirchen online until September 30th, 2024.When I arrived there was no one there, so after a phone call I received access data via SMS and went into the room. After 5 minutes I wanted to leave, there was a strong smell of cold smoke, no smoke detector, the room was generally very unhygienic.I called again and wanted to cancel immediately because I was so disgusted, I was told on the phone that wasn't possible and that I should come the next day.When I arrived there on September 27th, there was smoking in the middle of the hallway right in front of the rooms and the sound was rough. Since I wasn't there overnight, I made the offer to pay for 1 night and, if necessary, the cancellation costs.I was told that it doesn't matter that I haven't slept a night here and that they want the money for 4 days. Then not, you have to/will get a lawyer involved now.I can only advise against...1. There is smoking in the hallway and room. No smoke detector in the room.2. Room hygiene is terrible. Bathroom and bed are not washed and fresh.3. The window is broken, it's raining in and the window sill is wet, the wind is whistling.4. No service, really zero. Very unfriendly hosts whose only goal is to rip you off.

The staircase to the reception smells like a combination of a wet dog and a cigarette. The lady at the reception can hardly speak any German.Okay for one night but I wouldn't come back.In the room I noticed a huge tangle of cables on the television.Bathroom was fine.

Where should I start. Best if you have the smell of the cellar in the dirty stairwell.We were then given a numerical code for the entrance and the room. That was easy and worked very well.On the way to our room there was an old half police seal in the next room. From last year, so no one is interested there.There are 2 smoke detectors in our room, no, just their brackets, the detectors themselves are missing. In this context, the maintenance of the fire extinguisher in the hallway is overdue for a year.The bed was nice and big, but the mattress protector or topper was totally dirty and disgusting. The bathroom was functional, but there were a lot of black spots in the tile joints. A door jamb on the bottom of the bathroom door is totally tattered. Several smaller defects, such as open drill holes in the wall, hanging curtains, and no large mirror, rounded off the negative picture.The telephone availability can be improved, I received no reply to my email.Plus points are the large TV with Sky connection and the central location, as well as the small refrigerator in the room and the hotel parking lot.Conclusion: Very dirty and absolutely inadequate fire protection.Under no circumstances do I recommend this accommodation.

We had a budget double room with a private bathroom.The location is just great and checking in and out was quick and easy.Our room was a nice size and despite the central location it was quiet. Restaurant is right next to it and there are shops nearby too. Top
