We were able to spend two nights here as part of a hiking trip. The room in the beautiful old building was inviting and cozy, check-in was totally uncomplicated. There is a common room where there is free coffee and tea and a wine fridge with your own, delicious wines, which you can then bill according to the tally sheet. We then did a wine tasting with the winemaker and it was fantastic, she told us so much about viticulture and the special features of the area and of course the wines, it was just very warm and we could have gone on for hours. Everything organic and vegan, really great! We bought the wines by the box for home on the way back 😁Breakfast took place in the wine vault and the table was already set there, waiting for us with a candle and flowers. There were rolls, bread, cold cuts, eggs, homemade jam, coffee and our own grape juice. Absolutely sufficient and you could take any leftover rolls with you for the hike. (Very good because the area has no restaurants along the hiking route)The train station from which you can start tours is a 5-minute walk away. There are a few restaurants in town (with different closing days), and the winemaker is also happy to give recommendations. We would come back here and wish the nice family all the best for the business and hopefully a good wine year.

We stayed with the family for one night on our bike trip on Sunday. We were welcomed very warmly and were also able to try the wine, which we can only recommend. The room and breakfast were great! The wine fridge in the common room where you can buy wine was more than tempting. There is a good selection of restaurants in the surrounding area. All in all, only recommended.Thank you very much and see you soon!

We are cycling and stayed here Thursday to Friday and from Saturday to Sunday. We really like it. The hosts are very friendly, the rooms are great and the backyard is so cozy to sit together in the evening to end the day Have a glass of wine or a bottle. Wine tastings are also offered here and the breakfast is also really good. We really liked it and we will definitely come back.

Very nice and warm-hearted hosts who care about the well-being of their guests. Highly recommended and the location is the perfect stop on a hike or bike tour. Of course, the Sunday family wine must also be mentioned, which perfectly rounds off a beautiful day in the evening. Anytime again 👍

We came to Nittel on our hike and reserved a room with the winemaker Karl Sonntag. The room was simple but clean, the bathroom was small but brand new. Unfortunately, when we arrived in town during the midday heat, all the restaurants were closed at the time, as usual. We were warmly welcomed by the host and invited into the shady inner courtyard. There was a cool Elbling from our own cultivation to refresh ourselves and some water to "dilute" (depending on the time of day and temperature). This awakened our spirits and with a hearty breakfast (not in buffet form) in the beautiful old wine cellar we said goodbye in the direction of Trier.
