Showers were very good, room was of a good side, although the floorboards creaked. Wi-Fi was very poor in the room, only picked adequate signal right by the door. Breakfast was alright, good selection of continental meats. Only 1 member of staff spoke English, but overall I probably would stay again.

Because of a big birthday, the restaurant was tested, so to speak. My last contact with the Harzparadies wasn't so good, but the owner has apparently changed since then. We were almost 30 people. In the evening there were some schnitzels with some side dishes. Fried potatoes, croquettes, and fries. Salads, sauce with mushrooms, and various vegetables. Everything makes a good impression. Even if it's always in the eye of the beholder, there were about four female waitresses and they were all really attractive... You have to get it right first. They were also attentive and quick. The dessert was also very tasty. Vanilla ice cream with strawberries and amerettini. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and the new owner is probably doing a lot of things right so far. Good luck for continued success!

Review of the restaurant: very, very tasty food with a small but good menu. The prices are more than reasonable and the service... I haven't had such great hospitality in a long time. Although we were certainly not the most uncomplicated guests with a language barrier. The only improvement I would like to see is one or two more vegetarian dishes. Otherwise a dream!

The hotel and the location are quite nice.Unfortunately, check-in took a very long time. The furnishings of the room are a bit old, but clean and tidy.Breakfast was great.Unfortunately I can't give a higher rating because a ballroom was used directly below the room and unfortunately you couldn't sleep at all. I don't understand how you can expect this from your guests. In the morning the waitress asks if it was very loud. When we responded that we could sing along to every song, there wasn't even an apology.

Were a guest at a birthday partyLocation and parking greatFood buffet tasted good, dessert very goodThere is still room for improvement in the presentationNice service but untrained, long waiting times for drinks. I hope the new operators find a specialist who has gastronomy training and can handle celebrations of this size.

Breakfast was great, rooms were ok. Clean but a bit old, without being able to call it nice and rustic. The music from the celebration in the hall below us was clearly too loud. I could sing along to every lyric. Lt. The operator should have finished at 01:00. But it continued for a while.

I know, I know, we've just taken over... But worn-out furniture, broken lighting, staff who don't serve themselves at the breakfast buffet with wet hair while we're eating, waiters who give you the feeling on the day of arrival that you're a nuisance and the fact that you are simply left alone in the lobby for half an hour before checking in. There is still so much to do and definitely not worth the 80€/double room.
