It was exactly what we needed after a very long journey :) The hotel is warm, family friendly, the Minigolf room was a highlight for us and our toddler!Beautiful views of the lake from our window, and friendly staff. Breakfast was included and we ate our fill, and we had dinner there when we arrived - we had the restaurant to ourselves and the staff didn't mind us sharing our meals with our kid 👍

Great view on the lake on the terrace. However, this hotel is failing on multiple accounts: lousy wifi, no bar service at night, 5€ charge for a game of snooker, and staff is not so friendly. Rooms are Basic but OK. …

We are bikers from Denmark and stayed at Hotel Seeblick in July 2017. We had a nice room with a good view over the river. The breakfast was also very nice.

The hotel is actually beautifully located in Saalburg at the Bleilochtalsperre. And I actually even had a good view of the reservoir. But that was the good news. Unfortunately, my room was more than shabby. A renovation would have been necessary there many years ago. Given the condition of the hotel as a whole, I wonder whether the operators go through the hotel with their eyes open.Everything can't always be super modern - especially not given the price range (approx. 50€/night and single room + 3€ for the parking space). But what you are offered as a guest there in terms of accommodation is simply indecent. I would like to give minus stars to the room. I don't want to give a star for the service, simply because it's not good service to expect guests to have a room like that.To the operators: Why don't you use the potential of the good location?In any case, you will find enough feedback and suggestions in the reviews.

The hotel is located directly on the bike path, the view from the room and from the terraceon the Bleilochtalsperre is fantastic,The booking was uncomplicated, the welcome and farewell were warm.The breakfast was very good. There was a self-service drinks fridge.The bikes could be parked safely. The price-performance ratio is good.All of this makes up for the fact that the rooms are a bit old.

This hotel reflects the current situation in our country. It's crumbling everywhere and it's only thanks to the personal efforts of people, in this case the hotel staff, that we don't suffer a shipwreck. Let's hope we don't go under.As a trained GDR citizen, you can accept a lot of things in the hotel that are not standard in today's accommodations. We wish the owner courage, health and perseverance.For me it was a trip back to the charm of an FDGB holiday that I was able to experience with my parents as a child. Thanks for that!

Room just suitable for sleeping 😴 Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired and not a standard for a hotel mentioned. You can say that a youth hostel offers a better price-performance ratio. It's a shame for this location that would offer a lot of potential. Great location

This hotel looks more promising on the website, which is why we booked it.The location is wonderful, it had so much potential.It's really getting old.The terrace is quite nice, but also relatively old and the hedge is not cut back well or not at all, so that the railing disappears into the hedge.A very big drawback, there was only the fitted sheet on the mattresses, unfortunately no hygiene pads.For the price including breakfast, I've had better hotels in the Ruhr area as well as in Berlin and Dresden.You could make this hotel beautiful again with little money but a lot of time.I will not recommend the hotel.
