Beautiful rooms, the beds are neither soft nor hard, they are just perfect. I was disappointed that there is no Wi-Fi connection. The hotel staff does not communicate much.

2012 August. I was on bike from Milan to Copenhagen. 30km before Dingelstad I broke the crank. The staff was really helpful, the angels of Dingelstad. Thanks!

Since our arrival was delayed, we tried to call the hotel. That didn't work. We were unsettled. But then I was surprised and pleased that the hotel was open and there was a surprise bag with friendly letters and information, as well as the room key, on the counter. The room is nice, clean, large and you can feel comfortable. The windows block out the street noise well. Our request for an additional pillow was promptly fulfilled. The breakfast was very rich and good.Since everything is well organized, you shouldn't be surprised not to see any staff. Gladly again.

We went on a bike tour with 3 people and were desperately looking for a room in the evening. The lady at the reception was very friendly. Since the hotel was fully booked, she said for a moment, I'll call the boss. We were super happy to get a very nice, new apartment for one night, thank you very much. The breakfast at the Hotel Deutsches Haus, very tasty, our bike tour continued happily, thank you.

The hotel looks very pretty from the outside. From the inside, including the carpet, which has many stains. The room was ok / fridge didn't work. The beds are very soft. The bathroom wasn't wiped once in 3 days. At breakfast there were baked rolls that were baked again the next day. There was very little activity in the restaurant in the evening. The food in the evening was good and inexpensive. But you have to reserve in advance otherwise you'll go to bed hungry. Plenty of parking spaces available.

Rooms very nice, some not well ventilated.no elevator, man at reception overwhelmed with room allocation and billing, after staff change, women were very careful and competent.Dinner at a family celebration was very good, rich and tasty. Refined design of the plates and the breakfast buffet.hardworking service, thank you very much.Unfortunately, the room faces the street with a lot of traffic.

The apartment for up to 6 people is absolutely inappropriately furnished, not a clothes hanger, no hanging hooks in the bathroom, etc. …

Rooms are fine,Upon arrival I mention that I do not want breakfast and then they claim that it is included in the price, okay, fine then. Then I have breakfast the next day and drive home. I still receive a bill by email asking if I want to pay another €15 for breakfast. If I had reported this immediately when I handed in the key, I would have been happy to start the discussion!

We booked a double room from Friday to Monday.I had previously found out by phone that the rooms could be reached by elevator. However, upon arrival we discovered that a spiral staircase leads to the 1st floor. Since my husband is disabled and needs help, these stairs were too risky for us. The owner of the hotel was not available to us personally on Friday evening or the entire weekend. The employee who spoke broken German contacted him by phone and agreed that we could be offered a holiday apartment on the ground floor. We then looked at these and purchased them. There was no mention of an additional charge on Friday evening. On Sunday morning we were presented with a bill with an additional payment of fifty euros. I told the employee, who only spoke German poorly, that I would like to speak to the owner. But again just the statement that he couldn't be reached on the weekend. I then asked if I could speak to him on Monday and she replied in the affirmative. I didn't pay the bill at first. After breakfast we drove to our holiday apartment, which was a bit away from the hotel, and found that we couldn't get in anymore. I then drove back to the hotel and said that I would no longer come to the holiday apartment. The employee didn't want to understand me again. That's why I took a business card from the owner and dialed his cell phone number. He then told me on the phone that I had to pay the 50 EUR first and then I could come back to the holiday apartment. For me it was like blackmail. I first wanted to speak to him personally and tell him that we can't deal with guests like that, then we would have had to be told on Friday that we had to pay an extra charge. So I first paid the fifty euros to get into the holiday apartment. When we got back to the holiday apartment, the numerical code still didn't work. I then contacted the owner again by phone. He told me he hadn't changed the numerical code, but gave me a simple numerical code that I should try out. It actually worked. I packed our things and then we left the hotel or holiday apartment one day before my planned departure because I was banned from the house in the first phone call with the owner. The surcharge for breakfast and the third night were of course not refunded. The fifty euros paid later are also wasted. Conclusion: you really can't recommend this house!!At theAt the weekend there is no one you can talk to in person and who can really understand you in German, even though we are in Germany!!The owner was very unfriendly on the phone and didn't really want to listen to me.I would also like to note that you pay an additional 15 EUR per person for breakfast. The breakfast was very simple, for 15 EUR per person I would have expected more.On Friday evening after we moved into the holiday apartment, we wanted to eat something, but the employee, who barely understood and spoke German, told us that the kitchen closed at 8 p.m. and we couldn't get anything more. What was positive was that the holiday apartment was really very modern and well equipped. But here too we had a negative experience on the second night, a stranger was in the bedroom.

The hotel itself is okay, although a bit old. The employees are friendly and helpful, but there are language barriers that make communication difficult.A big drawback is the restaurant: although it is stated on the hotel website and booking pages, it was closed. We learned from local residents that this is a permanent situation. Particularly annoying because the hotel and holiday apartments were fully booked during a major event in the district. This should definitely be clearly communicated on the website and in the booking portals. The place offers a few good alternatives to food, but almost all of them were overcrowded. This is very disappointing for guests who expect to receive meals in the hotel.
