I stayed on Friday 28 June 2024 in room number 5. The bathroom had a strong sewage smell, and it could even be smelled from the bed area. It had been cleaned by officers using carbolic acid and given camphor, but it only disappeared for a moment and then the smell of sewage smelled again. After I checked myself, it turned out that the source of the smell was not in the drain, but in the water tap. If the water tap is closed for a long time, you will smell a very strong sewage smell and the water will also smell. But if the tap is left open and the water flows for a while, the smell will gradually decrease. It is very disturbing and very uncomfortable to stay in a room with a strong smell of sewage.To management, please evaluate and repair the water channel. The rates you charge are considered very expensive for the Ponorogo area. It can be up to 500k a night, but the rooms are far below standard and uncomfortable. Hopefully it can be fixed. Thanks.Response: For other experiences, maybe I can't tell you much, because practically I only did activities in my room during my stay. Regarding discussion and analysis, it is better to do it together with a plumbing expert, not with me. Because I am only telling my personal experience and providing my personal assessment which is definitely subjective in nature. I am willing to stay in the same room again, maybe the next time I visit Ponorogi, at normal rates, to see that the problem has been resolved. When that happens, I guarantee I will provide updated reviews at a good rate. Thank you.

Touring cyclists can spend the night here if they pass through Ponorogo. Bicycles can enter the room. There is breakfast and water. The bathroom is okay and there is hot water. There is a small clothesline so you can dry clothes.Minus there are no hotel slippers... 👍👍👍

This Ndalem Katong guest house was our choice when traveling to Ponorogo. Located in the city center, close to the district government center as well as trade and services. The rooms are cleaner, the lights are brighter, there is a green yard in front of the room which also accommodates 4 gazebos. The breakfast is delicious with a traditional menu, the coffee is great too. There is a cafe corner here too. Breakfast and coffee were delivered to each room, thank God it was delicious. Right next to this guest house there is also a mosque (Baitun Nahdloh) with direct access without having to leave the courtyard of this inn. At first glance, I noticed that there are lots of cool coffee places around here.

Clean. Calm. We stayed in a family suite. Super spacious room. Rates are pocket friendly. Next to the prayer room makes it easier to pray.
