WIFI/WLAN is completly NOT WORKING from 3 days. They called it „technical issues” but really? 3 days? When i came back at night, my room code wasn’t working to the front doors, so i’ve had to wake up my friend to come down and open the door for me. Additional, someone was cleaning my room even when i left „do not disturb” card on the door. Guy from reception is very polite and nice. But im just very disappointed.

This renovated hotel is centrally located in Gera, the rooms are modernly furnished. However, some things here could have been more contemporarysuch as sockets with integrated USB ports. They should also have done better with the hot water, you have to let it run for almost minutes until it gets warm/hot. Nevertheless, I would use it again.

Due to a family celebration, the two of us were guests at the B&B Hotel Gera for two nights. Price-performance is good. We also booked breakfast on site. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was very tidy, the furnishings gave us the impression that it was new. The walls were also without any noticeable wear, the bathroom was almost like new, high-quality fittings, great shower with normal shower and rain shower, glass door, lots of towels and everything was very tidy. The house is very quiet, we didn't hear any other guests. Large parking lot in the courtyard, free 👍🏻. We liked it a lot and will book there again.

We were very satisfied. Unfortunately there was no breakfast in the house as the hotel was completely renovated. The rooms were quite modern and very clean. The beds were also very comfortable and it was very quiet at night. The price is fair.

Dirty, small, poorly equipped rooms. 2 out of 4 nights there was no cleaner, when someone was there it was still pretty dirty. The rooms are very noisy, you can hear the neighbors and everything. It didn't matter to anyone that one night there was a party in the next room until 4am, as the reception is only open until 11pm.Location is quite central but apparently in a bad area.Won't be coming back.

No customer should have to be treated like this! The “unfriendly gentleman” at the reception is second to none. How to transfer salary to such a person every month?I expect a hotel chain to check the way each employee works and select them.I'll never set foot in one of these B+Bs again, that's a fact...

We had booked for four nights with my parents' advance warning that the area around the southern train station up to the "Bone Park" was something like Gera's Little Aleppo. That didn't put me off at first, we just wanted a clean room to sleep in. It's just stupid that when we checked in the room was still completely dirty, the old bed linen was still there and the used towels were still hanging on the hook. They simply forgot to clean the room. It can happen, no drama. We had little time that day, had to go somewhere else soon and so didn't want to change luggage again. So we went down to reception and simply said that we would be back in three hours and that we expected a clean room with everything that came with it (fresh bed linen, towels, etc.) by then. That's how it was, actually no reason to complain. We wanted to watch some TV in the evening, but it wasn't possible because there was no remote control. So we got dressed again (we were already in bed and neither the woman in suspenders nor I in the Adam's costume wanted to go down to reception...) and explained the problem to the really friendly concierge. "Oh, a colleague recently changed the batteries and apparently forgot to put the remote control back," he said. But luckily he had a backup remote control, great in theory. What wasn't so great, however, was the television itself, a marvel of Dutch TV engineering (Philips). I'm still a generation of black and white tubes with three buttons, but luckily I now also understand the Android TV at home. Not this one, all public broadcasters were encrypted or had no signal, and the lower-class channels like RTL2, Sat1 or Pro7 are not my cup of tea. A media library couldn't be found either, nor could you stream the content from your smartphone onto the screen. The next day the problem was addressed and I was given the tip to pull the plug for 10 seconds (like a restart), which requires gynecologist's fingers since the socket is directly behind the TV that is screwed to the wall. However, after this procedure the TV really worked somewhat, well, the media library still didn't work. Okay, the younger generation would have spent the entire evening with the woman they brought with them, but I'll be 57 the week after next, so the whole thing only takes place over the course of a daily show without a great introduction, followed by Bergdoktor.Actually little things, but it's just annoying that you have to go down to reception every time to clarify these things. What is also a bit stressful is the location of the hotel. As mentioned at the beginning, it is located in a district that is now very influenced by Syrian migrants. This is where different cultures collide. While it's not a big problem during the day, the potato likes to be quiet at night, while Mohammed and Majid like to turn night into day. The nuclear physicists from the Middle East can now also afford high-horsepower cars, whose acceleration values have to be presented on the Gera asphalt even at three o'clock at night. Why not, no one checks, I haven't even seen the police in the area all these days. Long live diversity.

After reading various reviews about the construction site in the hotel and the fact that there is no breakfast, I called the hotel. Both were confirmed to me here!No end date for the construction site and no promise as to whether there would be breakfast in the near future (end of the year!).

Very negative!!!Wanted on Sunday August 11th. check in at 3:30 p.m. The very unfriendly gentleman at the reception simply left me there and said he had a lunch break. "Check in online." Even after asking again I didn't get any help from him, "otherwise the food will get cold".Unfortunately there is no breakfast yet. There should probably be one at some point.Positive:The rooms are newly renovated, so everything is great.Parking is free.

We were there on August 31st. in transit. B&B lured me with the loyalty program that breakfast was free from the second stay. When I was checking in at the reception, when I asked when breakfast would be available, I was told that there was no breakfast. When I was astonished, the receptionist cheekily laughed it off. He then gave the great tip to have breakfast in the nearby Simmel supermarket. Only the following day was a Sunday and this market was closed. After a long search, we had no choice but to have breakfast in another hotel.Even though the room was newly renovated, only one star.To enter the room you have to manually enter a long code. What do visually impaired people actually do?The room is also not professionally renovated. The floor swings so much with every step that the coffee cups clink and wake up the roommates. The situation is miserable. We were able to look at a ruin that had probably fallen into disrepair in GDR times.Overall, not a valuable area.I stay in a hotel every week for work reasons, but I won't be visiting this chain again. That was the first and last time.
