Kastanienhof Erfurt

At the beginning of September I was in Erfurt for further training and was a guest at the Kastanienhof and was thrilled!I didn't want to go to one of the big houses, be some number and have breakfast in a big hall. Of course, my training provider recommended 3 big names, even though the travel time to the training center would have been more than 20 minutes and the accommodation costs would have been almost twice as expensive.So I wanted to take a look around myself, the company pays, so you can choose something nice.The mere fact that this beautiful farm is family-run made me take a closer look. Travel time to the training center is 11 minutes. Even the first telephone contact, since I'm not very comfortable with these booking apps, was great and I felt like I was well advised.Unfortunately, I arrived a little later in the evening, but the manager of the house called me beforehand and said that she was going to bed, whether I would be able to cope and when I would like to have breakfast 😳How good is that please!?I was in the room around 12:00 a.m. and I was very pleased again, yes I can stand it for 3 nights... the bed linen alone gave me good dreams... Schiesser... I ordered them online straight away at home 😅 The rest was also TOP!!! super clean, tidy space and simply lovingly furnished.The first morning should continue like this, in the breakfast room, welcomed and introduced to the perfect breakfast buffet by the head of the house. Everything your heart desires is there, but not too much or overcrowded! Drinking coffee in the “Wild” garden with a view of the yurts, which are also intended for overnight stays, with a little chat included. In the evening the same nice question, when should breakfast be tomorrow? Just great. And it went like this. I'm a craftsman myself and love doing as much as possible myself, so it's convenient that the man of the house is a self-employed carpenter and does a lot of the work himself (according to the boss's instructions or wishes, I think:))I would like to come back, privately and with my wife, she would really like it there too :)Whether for business or pleasure, I would definitely recommend the Kastanienhof for a trip to Erfurt.Kind regards to the whole family and just carry on like this...I hope it will be appreciated and visited by many people for many years to come!

A very beautiful and, above all, quiet courtyard, we felt very comfortable and welcome there, there is a very nice, polite, yet relaxed family atmosphere.Our well-being was important and we were constantly asked whether everything was okay, whether we were missing something, at breakfast and elsewhere.We could have expressed wishes if we had wanted something specific.As a precaution, we have already made a reservation for December and when we said goodbye we said that this reservation would remain because we liked it so much.We would love to go there again to relax and feel good!!!We definitely recommend the Kastanien Hof!!!

I spent a wonderful yoga weekend in this small, family-run hotel and am still thrilled! The place radiates so much peace and harmony - inside and out. The loving furnishings with lots of wood and yogic elements create a unique atmosphere that invites you to relax. The numerous dream places in the courtyard and garden, where you can unwind, are particularly impressive. An absolute highlight was the Ayurvedic tasting by owner Katrin, which was prepared with so much attention to detail. The 2 nights in the cozy yurt under the starry sky were magical. An absolute insider tip for anyone who wants to treat themselves to a break!

We, my girlfriend and I, booked the Pitta yurt for a weekend and were super impressed by this beautiful farm and the incredibly nice people there. The style and eye for detail in this place immediately made you feel at home.The breakfast was a great start to the day with good organic products and dishes for every taste.The yurt cannot be described, it simply has to be experienced.We would love to come back, thank you for your hospitalityWhy are there only 5 stars here 🤷🏻‍♂️

Arrive, be warmly welcomed, radiant hosts. That was our first impression.Then moved into the yurt. The bathroom/toilet was very nice and attractive.Incredibly tasteful, loving.There is more than you need.A wonderful experience.The garden - a dream, designed with a lot of love, like everything and everywhere on this area. Opportunities to linger everywhere.An unforgettable stay.The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and is prepared with a lot of love.Everything organized easily.Anyone who doesn't feel comfortable here has their own problem.We would like to thank the hosts for such a wonderful home and wish you many lovely guests who have an eye for the little things.
