Yesterday we had dinner at “Achterland”. To be on the safe side, we called shortly beforehand and reserved a table for two. We and our dog were warmly greeted 1 hour later. We decided on pike perch with fish tufts. Very very tasty. Since we didn't know fish taverns before, I would have liked to have eaten another portion of them.The service was very good and not intrusive. In one sentence: A visit to “Achterland” is highly recommended.

My husband and I have now spent our vacation at the Pension Achterland for the fourth time. For us it's like a second home because we feel so comfortable and the hosts are already part of the family. The rooms are comfortable, clean, you have everything you need and if something is missing you can let us know. The guesthouse is quiet and you can enjoy and hear nature. The breakfast is nicely prepared and you can also say if you want something different. In the evening you can have a delicious meal in your own restaurant and in the evening you can see a beautiful starry sky that you can hardly observe so beautifully anywhere else. You can also go on many beautiful tours by bike and it's not that far to the beach by car. We can hardly wait to spend our vacation here again.Thank you very much and keep it up.

Insider tip when it comes to food!!We have been to “Achterland” several times and the food is always delicious and highly recommended.If you are looking for peace and quiet while eating, you can enjoy it on the covered terrace.We also like the family atmosphere, including a little chat.However, we definitely recommend making a reservation in advance,We are already looking forward to the next meal in Morgenitz with Mr. Pinter!

We came across this place while looking for dinner.The menu has everything your heart desires, whether fish, meat or salads, everything is available.The service was very warm and friendly and always helpful.The food was super tasty, well seasoned and the meat was on point. Very tender and juicy and the fried potatoes are so delicious. We would like to award one more point here if possible ;).A little tip: It's an advantage to reserve a table and bring some time with you. But the wait is worth it!Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back :)

If you love simply prepared dishes without much effort, this is the place for you - as delicious as the fried potatoes warmed up in the pan. This is also the place for anyone who loves sensational side salads, consisting of lovingly draped lettuce leaves with two to three quarter tomatoes, three or four cucumber slices and 4-5 drops of dressing. Delicious! The eel dipped in butter consists of 5 small pieces (according to the boss, the fish weight is 300g), see the attached photo. Everyone can then decide for themselves whether the €29.10 is worth it to them. Finally, there is a menu in which everything is listed clearly and openly.The very nice and very professional service person walked with the food against the window on the terrace, so that it slipped somewhat, but didn't fall down. Then comes a simple “Excuse me” and the plate is on the table. The heart smiles. I'd love to come back, but only in 20 years. Until then I need a break.Very important: the Achterland, a very lovingly furnished snack bar with a wonderful view of the parking lot, is very important on Usedom, so important that you are very likely to be dumped here without a prior reservation (see other reviews from highly satisfied customers). Ultimately, the chef has to have time to prepare everything properly and in abundance, especially defrosting the fried potatoes that are often served on Usedom takes time. 😉

Surprisingly good although initially very inconspicuous.Map clear but tasty.It makes sense to reserve as it gradually fills up.We are happy to recommend it.

The Achterland restaurant has a small menu.All fish dishes are very well cooked and fresh.The pork steaks are also good.It's definitely worth taking a look.
