Beautiful building with a period style in an idyllic setting, truly made it feel like we’d been transported back in time. Enjoyed a great evening meal overlooking the wild meadows watching woodpecker’s fly past as our son played under the huge oak tree, then wandered in the woods within the grounds where we enjoyed the picturesque lake and occasional sightings of deer. With breakfast for 3 included we thought it was really good value for a unique experience.

In the Brandenburg Region, there are a number of fine places in which one could celebrate his/her wedding. The Schloss Steinhöfel, I must say, does not quite fit into that group. …

We were guests for one night for a wedding. The building, rooms and grounds are really nice and we felt very comfortable. The beautiful terrace in particular invites you to linger. There is a deduction for the breakfast, for the price of which we expected a little more and for which it was rather slow to check whether there was a need for refills. We haven't had any bad experiences with the staff ourselves, although we have heard some negative reports from fellow guests (eye rolling, disagreements).

Incredibly unfriendly staff, at the reception as well as at the bar. The food was mainly frozen food or from a can and they don't know sauces there either. It's a shame, because it's a really nice place.Addendum: after the operator changed, I would try it again. The rooms were nice and the place with the large garden was something special.
