Gem of a hotel, situated in a perfect spot to nestle into the old Apple District or to cross the river to the Altstadt. There are plenty of pubs and cozy restaurants in this little area to choose from, and on Saturday night when we were here it was lively well into the wee hours of the morning. However, the thick and well insulated walls of our room meant we heard none of it, even with our window ajar. Nice thick towels, comfy bedding and well appointed with toiletries. The staff we interacted with were so friendly and helpful! The light breakfast was delicious, too. Lovely stay!

We had an unexpected stay in Frankfurt due to a travel mishap - but were so warmly welcomed by the lovely staff at this hotel we immediately forgot the stress of it all. The lobby is charming, the breakfast terrific (really, who knew vegan croissants could be so perfect?) and the location ideal. Thank you for the hospitality!

Terrible place. Rooms are located over the Irish bar and many more around, it's super noisy every night until 3 AM. Rooms have no AC, and it's getting extra hot inside, you literally can not stay inside and can not open windows due to noise levels. Just avoid this place if you want to sleep at night.

Nice hotel, rude staff who didn’t want to provide the free breakfast indicated on their website. On checkout, we were asked to pay for breakfast. …

Arrived to the hotel to be met by construction work in the entrance. Had to go through an unsafe place to get into the hotel. |Went out that evening and when we came back at 2am couldn’t get into the hotel. …

Nice hotel in a convenient location to walk across the river and to the train station. The room was large and well appointed. The breakfast was delicious and the community kitchen was really handy. …

Really good place to stay.Love the concept of no keys needed and access to a kitchen if you want to make your own food. Such a great way to keep costs low when travelling. The gym has more than just the basics of what you need for a decent workout. The safe in the room is tiny, so not able to store a laptop in there. The seal between the shower door did not join, so there was always a puddle after. I really hope that gets fixed soon, as wood rot would be a far more difficult issue to deal with down the line.

Happy with our stay here! A small pretty hotel with a nice atmosphere and boutique feeling. It is located in a lively area (bars and pubs), however closing the windows blocks most of the sound. The 3 of us booked a room with a double bed and a very nice extra bed. Very nice interior! The staff was very friendly. However we barely saw them since there’s no reception. This made the check-in a little tricky, but manageable :)

Picking a hotel for a first time visit to a city can always be a bit of gamble when you don't know the areas but fate smiled on me when I picked the Libertine Lindeberg. Located in Alt Sachsenhausen area of the city it benefits from being at the heart of a beautifully vibrant community within the city and within walking distance of the city centre. The boutique hotel is beautifully designed throughout with nice touches such as coffee-table magazines scattered in the main cafe/bar area. I chose the Apartment (Room 50) which aside from being comfortable and relaxing it also has an amazing view of Frankfurt's skyline. But what really makes the hotel work so well is the warmth and friendliness of the staff who are all perfect Libertine Ambassadors! They are happy to chat and recommend places of interest which for a solo traveller is always nice. One other thing that should be in any review of the hotel is their Vegan breakfast which offers a small range of healthy options in the morning. The pièce de résistance for the morning is without a doubt the Vegan croissants which are, as one of the staff quite rightly said, 'the best in the world'Vielen Dank für einen wundervollen Aufenthalt,David

I stopped in Germany for 2 nights and stayed at Libertine Lindenberg. First, I want to say the room was super cut and the bed was extremely comfortable. That being said, there were a few issues for which I listed below.1. Check-in instructions were in German; therefore, checking in was time consuming as I had to wing it.2. I don’t believe my room had air conditioning. If it did, I didn’t know how to use it, as there was no temperature control anywhere. Only a knob that went from 1 to 6. The room had a small fan that I had to put in front of the open window to cool the room down for me to be able to sleep.3. This brings me to my other point, the noise from the streets could not be blocked out as I had to have the window open. I stayed on a Sunday and Monday night, I cannot imagine what it would be like the other nights.4. I believe the shampoo and body was bottles were switched. I washed my hair and I couldn’t get the “shampoo” out. I believe it was the body wash. Then I used the body wash and it felt like shampoo.I really wish I would have had a better experience due to the price I paid for the room.
