B&B HOTEL Frankfurt-Hbf

Straight forward accommodation in the city centre. Price is variable. Great location, however the lower floors facing the street get a lot of noise. You're able to get a kettle with a 20€ cash deposit but only paper cups in the room.

The room was small but perfectly functional, it was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The staff were really helpful and pleasant all the way through, and though some guests seemed a bit more rowdy, I think the family rooms must be on a different floor, as it was very peaceful in our room. We ordered breakfast, which was sufficient but nothing special, not sure I would do that again. The location is central, but only just off the slightly scarier bit surrounding the station, so I would not want to walk around late at night. There was a really yummy chinese hand pulled noodle bar just a few steps away that I would recommend for dinner.

I’ve always been a B&B hotels fan. Their business model is quite amazing. We wanted to spend a day out of our home and booked this hotel. The stay was quite pleasant and we were also able to secure safe parking at the Center of Frankfurt.

First of all, I have to point out that I have already been to a couple of hotels, including several other B&Bs. I really appreciate the cleanness of these hotels along with the simple check-in processes. This hotel also delivers the usual, well-known standard of the chain: clean rooms, an acceptable price, good breakfast, excellent internet connection.My nightmare started by checking out the location for the hotel. Well, the map pin in Google Maps is correct, the one inside the app, on the other hand, is not. If you thick on “get the locations” inside the app, you will be misdirected to an other position.Unfortunately, the room initially intended for me had to be changed as the light did not work there. It is no big deal, as long as there are other empty rooms. However, the way in which my complaints were handed was not up to scratch. When I got back to the reception, the lady was smoking cigarettes out there and wanted me to wait until she finishes; on the grounds that I was already delayed due to searching for the hotel at the wrong location, I asked her to solve this issue immediately. I do not know whether her thoughts were somewhere else, or what happened, but I had a really hard time making her understand my problem (that the light does not work). Eventually, she came to the room and offered another room. However, no other compensation has been offered, which is quite strange for me. Okay, it happens that the room is unsuitable for whatever reason, however, as long as it is exclusively the hotel’s fault, one would expect a small compensation. Not a free stay or whatever, but a drink at the bar or some other pinkie (a couple of years ago I had a similar issue in another hotel, and I had not to pay for the breakfast as a compensation), I guess, is offered in such situations. My overall experience is still slightly positive, but I hope that the managers will examine their policy concerning handling such issues.

Clean, efficient, basic. The rooms have no facilities like for making coffee etc, just for sleep and a good shower. We found foam covered beds hot and often woke due to that. Location is super if you don't mind the grunge of the nearby station.

Our family of four needed a place to stay near the train station before our flight. This place was great. Rooms are no frills, but are clean and have everything you need, including a small table and stools so we could grab dinner and eat in the room. The rooms were quiet, AC and WiFi were great, and staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was ok. It’s small, but larger coffee cups and juice glasses would be nice. We would definitely stay again, the value for the money was great!

The quality of the staff is very good. Thank you to the gentleman in charge of breakfast on the morning of the 24th and the lady at the counter. After breakfast, I forgot to take my bag, which contained my most important passport and money. When I checked out, they reminded us to check if any luggage was missing. They were also worried about someone impersonating me, so they asked me carefully to describe the bag line. I love you so much because your character and kindness were the perfect ending to my final journey. If I have the opportunity to visit Frankfurt again in the future, I will definitely come again. Entirely average hotel.Rooms are small, but entirely functional. They even have AC, which I would not consider typical.Surprisingly quiet during the night.Pillows, bedsheet and mattress are comfortable enough.Online check-in promised to send me the room access code between 2pm and 6pm and was unsuccessful. It eventually arrived at 11pm, long after I had checked myself in in the lobby.The toilet paper is thin as a wisp of smoke.The carpeting in the room was beyond grubby.Room cleaning happened every two days, and replaced two dirty towels with only one clean one.The bed was made, but so badly that it immediately un-made itself once I sat down on it.Water pressure in the shower is not great, just fine enough.Location to Hauptbahnhof is obviously very useful, and the amount of crack addicts and homeless people in the area can't be blamed on the hotel.You get pretty much exactly what you pay for.Don't expect miracles.

While booking the B&B frankfurt (near Hauptbahnhof), Initially we were a bit skeptical on how is the location as it is very near to central station which sometimes have those shady people during evening hours (based on the internet reviews for Hotels around this area). But, to our surprise, we had a very comfortable and safe stay. We traveled to and from to the Central station 3-4 times during our stay and we never felt that feeling of being unsafe or anyone bothering you. I could see the police personnel deployed there and it was all good. Never a thought came to our mind that there is any safety issue.Coming to the hotel itself, it is very comfortable stay. We stayed in a family room and it had good mattresses as well as air-conditioning. Being on the 6th floor, there was no noise problem at any time of the day. The lady at the reception was very helpful and we had a super quick check-in. Our kids used the bunk bed and I could find them as very stable and of good quality unlike at some other hotels. The bathroom was good and it had all what is needed like soap, hot water and clean towels.Overall - We had a very comfortable stay and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Frankfurt who wants to stay near Hauptbahnhof for easy connectivity.
