Very nice camping, well maintained, clean and organised. Reception staff is extremely friendly, we first got assigned a rather busy spot which didn’t work out for our (young) dog, she immediately understood the situation and gave us a new, more quiet spot. We planned on staying only 1 night but stayed another night because of this positive experience.

First and foremost, I want to say that the staff at this campsite are very unfriendly. The arrangement of the pitches is in a circle, resembling a choreographed dance, with all terraces facing the common area. There is no private space; everyone is in full view of each other. Moreover, they don't take into account the sunny side. Our terrace was in direct sunlight from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., like being on a frying pan in 35-degree heat.We were given a shaded spot for two days and were told they couldn't do anything more, nor could they refund the money for the remaining days. The beach service is cash only, and the entrance to the lake is very poor—you can only enter from the pier; otherwise, there are weeds and clay.We vacation at Bodensee every year, and this is by far the worst campsite and the worst shoreline. I recommend never going to this place, and I suggest that the staff spend their holidays in the spots where they place the RVs.Wishing you a wonderful holiday, but not at this campsite.

Nicely kept campground, gras very short, arranged in several separate wagon forts, I liked that they were very friendly towards car campers as well 👍

The circular setup sounds like a good idea but doesn't allow for any privacy. 2 out of 3 showers were closed because they were broken (yes that means there was only one left, and yes that means there were only 3 to begin with) also, what they failed to tell us at reception is that we had to pay for the showers (is that still a thing?) We were located right next to a youth camp which meant ridiculous amounts of noise which again they didn't mention at reception. There is free wifi available, but it's pretty bad.The location is beautiful, the 'strand bad' next door (which you get free passes for) is pretty, but it doesn't make up for flaws of this place. Overall a disappointing stay.

Lovely place right next to lake. Outstanding restaurant ať the beach. Cheaper then similar sites around.Only one general problem are dogs - camp site allow dogs, but then there are no places where you can take them...beach and lake is basically forbbiden to dogs all the way to Swiss boarders.

We very much liked the layout of the camp sites in circles. The place felt spacious and not like a car park as on some campsites. The location near the lake is nice, of course, and we found the staff very friendly and welcoming. If the shower had been a little warmer, it would have been a 5 star experience.

Nice installations, but the ladies at the entrance are not friendly. The first one told us that it was completely booked, but the place was half empty. The second one agreed to let us stay, but she wrongly accused my friend to be a thief and of hiding a dog...When you are far from the reception, the camping is nice. 25€ for 2 people and a tent. And add 1€ for a shower.

Brilliant place for caravans and motorhomes. Outfits parked in circles of about 14 units. Cars left outside in car parking, no problems. Fresh bread available daily and beach and grassed area next to lake. Free bus and local train. Stayed for 2 weeks in June 2018. Good for families with children.
