– Part 2 – The next shock comes when you go to the toilet for the first time. On the one hand, there were still leaves on the floor (not cleaned properly), and on the other hand, the toilet lid was broken, which the landlord repaired upon request. Those who go on vacation there after us can now at least sit properly on the toilet (by the way, the toilet and bathroom always smell slightly musty). We had no WiFi the first evening, and when it was activated the next day we had a signal to the router, but no internet. As soon as the other tenants in the other two houses were online, nothing arrived. It went on like that the whole vacation. There was some WiFi starting at 3 a.m. when everyone else was asleep. Sometimes there were dead spots, sometimes you had a network but no internet, and sometimes you didn't even have a network. So basically no internet for two weeks. There is also only one key for the shower and bathroom rooms and one key for the accommodation itself. We didn't think that was a good thing because you couldn't leave the apartment independently. Additionally, the uncovered terrace, which is also the stairs down, is right next to a garage with an asbestos roof (right next to the front door). It is possible to use the grill, but since the grill is in the courtyard of the other two accommodations, you have to coordinate with all tenants. The mini pavilion is very useful when it's raining and you don't want to get wet, but there was rubbish lying around there too. The table was full of bits of coal and partly rusted, the ashtray was full to the brim with cigarette butts and had not been emptied. There are two small storage rooms for bicycles under the property. Whenever other holidaymakers took out or pushed in their own bikes or the bikes they had rented there, you could hear everything very loudly. In addition, everyone with luggage (trolleys) passed the accommodation through a narrow corridor and got stuck on the railing of the small staircase, which was always very loud. In addition, privacy is somewhat limited as the small window had no curtains (only a fly screen).Beach chairs can be rented directly from the landlord. He said that they would cost 12 euros elsewhere, but here (a small alley behind the restaurants towards the beach) they also only cost 10 euros for normal beach chairs (as of August 2023), and 12 euros for XXL beach chairs. We got one for 14 days for 100 euros, but other places also offer discounts for longer periods. Unfortunately we didn't receive an invoice, not even by email. Our dates of birth were mixed up on the spa cards, but in the end we didn't care. We mostly avoided the property and only returned in the evening to sleep. Conclusion: If you can do without the internet, like to walk to the sanitary facilities and accept dirt and a broken place to sleep, you might feel comfortable there. But camping is the cheaper alternative.

– Part 1 – To cut a long story short, the only good thing about this property is its proximity to the beach. When we arrived, we just got the keys, talked to the landlord about the spa cards and went out to eat. When we came back we were able to look at everything and move into the "sofa bed". This is where the problem started, as the fitted sheet is actually too small for the couch. The corner shifted back and forth all night and kept pulling out the sheet. The next day I realized that the corner must have been patched several times. There was a rope that you had to pull around the bottom of your foot, but it only lasted 1 or 2 nights if you didn't pull it all the way up.Then the small freezer compartment in the refrigerator was open and the clipboard was missing. The landlord reattached the freezer compartment flap upon request, but the shelf was apparently still there from the last tenant, according to the landlord's statement. The frozen ice compartment meant that water was constantly dripping onto the food, and you could only store sealed food and drink bottles on the bottom of the fridge. The dishes in the cupboard were completely dirty, it looked like they hadn't been washed and just put back in the cupboard. We only cleaned what was necessary and left the rest in the closet. We didn't want to play cleaning lady for the money for this "holiday apartment". There were cobwebs behind the cupboards and on the walls and it smelled very musty. That's why we constantly tilted the window throughout the entire vacation. There was no heating, or at least we couldn't find one. There were brownish spots on the wallpaper in places that looked as if it had rained on it and then dried again. The TV worked but was hardly used. You had to be careful with the kettle because the lid was loose (the plastic had probably broken off at some point). Once the hot water ran completely over my hand. From the pictures you might think that the bathroom and toilet are under the room, but that is deceptive. You have to go down a small staircase, up a small staircase, then along a path across the meadow and past the other two holiday accommodations to get to the toilet and bathroom.Although the light turns on when you walk down 1 or 2 steps, the rest of the way in the dark and rain can be very slippery and dark and you have to be careful not to fall. - Part 1
