Very bad experience. The hotel is in poor condition, it isn't clean but what stood out the most was the directly rude and unfriendly hotel manager/owner. Still room rates were quite high so it isn't a budget option also. We can only recommend to stay somewhere else.

Excellent creative food in a very cosy atmosphere. It’s definitely a quirky place and you better like dogs but if you are in for an experience make sure not to miss this place.

Our room & bathroom were large and clean.The landlord was very attentive and kept asking if anything was missing. He's boyish, you have to like him.The food was to die for and the portions were enough for two! Breakfast was sufficient and delicious! When I read some of the reviews, all I can say is: How it screams into the forest...The price-performance ratio is definitely right!We'll definitely come back!!

This Schlawiner is by far the best restaurant I have had the pleasure of getting to know in recent years, the host is a magician in the kitchen, there are delicacies of a very high standard, and the rooms are cozy and attractive. The boss himself is very friendly and always has a smile on his face. We'll definitely be back!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

We spent two nights in the old Schlawiner.Our room was perfectly equipped for wheelchair users. The owner was very open to suggestions for improvements that we felt were no longer necessary. The house has two large, very lovable dogs who greet you with a wagging tail.The room was very clean. In the morning there was a rich buffet breakfast available, where attention was paid to using flawless and valuable food. The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating.

The landlord is a real original. And he can cook!!! You definitely shouldn't miss dinner. The breakfast was also excellent - we have rarely eaten such good cheese, and the home-made fresh strawberry jam simply rocks everything. Dogs are very welcome, our little Wuschel felt very comfortable like we did. The two in-house dogs are friendly and very well-behaved. Our room was large and well equipped, everything is consistently organic. Not an impersonal, run-of-the-mill hotel stay, but absolutely relaxed, cozy, tasty, original and very hospitable. We'd love to come back!
