I arrived in Nürnberg and there was a mistake with my reservation at a hotel near the central station. There were no vacancies and, in the whole town, only luxury rooms for 300+ euros per night were available, due to a trading fair. I found this modest hostel, where they charged me only 35 euros and saved my trip. It’s true, it’s extremely basic but it’s clean, safe and the manager was very kind and always asked me if everything was fine. For that price, I really couldn’t ask for more. The location is very good, since it’s just a few minutes from a subway station.Thank you, Pension Sofia!

It's very bad. It looks like refugees are living there. It's like a place they've always lived in. The smell was so bad that I opened the door a little and they said something in Ukrainian. It's German, but they don't speak German and they don't speak English well. I thought the ratings were good, so I came here, but I'm not coming back again. The cleanliness was so bad, they were completely unfriendly, the service was terrible, and they were yelling and saying things in Ukrainian. I paid my money to sleep and theyIt seems like he's saying it's his own mind to work... Anyway, it's really, really bad. It's completely different from the pictures, it makes you wonder if you're too scared to live there, and it's even worse than accommodations in difficult countries. I don't usually write reviews, but I'm so angry that I'm writing this.

Hotel Sofia is one of the best hotels we have visited. The four of us ended up sleeping in a three-bed room. The sockets were also very modern and looked very safe. The hotel owner was also very friendly and spoke perfect German.Even near the hotel, I was only threatened to beat myself up once. Which is very friendly. There are also a lot of items in the room that you can stack on drunk friends, which is a lot of fun.I would like to give 6 stars but unfortunately that's not allowed but we'll definitely go back next year.

It is not a hotel, but a hostel where you have to stay a maximum of one night. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, broken windows, old beds, blankets where there are billions of bacteria and they stink. The bathroom is acceptable, I repeat it is only good if you stay for one night. The manager is a good person and is very helpful.

Furnishing:- A shower/toilet, a toilet (which is very little for a hostel)- There was a refrigerator in the room, but it was unplugged and there was mold in it and it smelled- Fully equipped kitchen, but you have to eat in the room, there is no table- There were several small power outages. The light and socket in the room and bathroom kept going on and off.- Towels and bed linen includedHygiene:- Toilet without sink/soap only with disinfectantEmployees:- Friendly but not so good in English

I'm undecided what to write. Very good price. It even cost less than originally agreedIn addition, instead of a four-bed room, I had a three-bed room to myself. Unfortunately the thermostat was missing on the heating.Communication was difficult. Finally found a translator. The toilets were ok. I've seen worse things from far away. Great for the price! But they really can't take more.

It's better to spend 10€ in another hotel or motel so that you feel more comfortable and safer. Boss was nice, but not right for “normal” householders.
