Would highly recommend avoiding this place. We made a mistake with our dates of staying at the location. We cancelled the booking within 10 minutes, and immediately called the owner. Instead of helping us, he preferred to keep the 70 euros, and decline our phone calls. Through text he told us to just book another place, and that it was our fault. Not the kind of hospitality you would hope for when going to a place like this. Look elsewhere for a place that treats it's visitors with fairness and kindness.

My husband and I have had a very pleasant stay at Pension Birgit. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We both had a good night sleep. The premise was old and the facility may not meet your expectation but for us, it's the charm of the place and the Rothenburg city itself. The place was cute and lovingly cared for and the owners (husband and wife) were very welcoming and kind. Be prepared to climb a few flights of winding stairs to get to your room. The location alone was well worth the price you paid for. It's very close to everything and very convenient. Love the city of Rothenburg and the friendliness of the locals. Most souvenir stores are well worth a visit. it is full of treasures with many hand-made and adorable merchandises. If you have more time, shop around and check out the price before making any big purchases.

The owner stole 70 euros after we made a reservation for the wrong dates, which we cancelled right afterwards. Doesn't have the decency to refund this money after trying to contact the owner several times. Horrible customer service

I stayed with my kid at Pension Birgit already three times. It's impossible to imagine a better location, the house is small but it has so many authentic details of the architectural solutions of the past times. The rooms are tidy, the hostess is a very helpful and nice lady. I would not hesitate to recommend the pension to single travelers and small families.

This pension is situatued just one street off the main street, thus an excellent location! The owner has parking places available, so that you pay less then you would on the public parking places. The rooms are small, but cute and the breakfast is fine. Nothing too fancy, but great if you don't expect too much luxury.
