Do yourself a favour and don't waste your time, money and nerves to stay there. It is not worth it.They are very unreliable, unorganised, rude, and racist. We booked the room after a long drive with two small kids, and when we got there, the hotel was locked, and no one was there. The poor bartender from the next door had to help us and open the door to what was supposed to be our room, just to find out it was already occupied. After trying many, they found one empty room where we had to do the bed, clean the dirty sink in the bathroom, and it was very dusty. The next day, we were greeted by a very rude and racist receptionist. She didn't apologise for their bad hospitality. She actually accused us that we are not as well prepared as German people when travelling. She promised us a call from the manager, which we still didn't get after 6 months of waiting. This is by far the worst experience we ever had in many years of travelling through Germany and around the world.

No room ready. The receptionist the next day told us it was our fault because we booked late.We stayed here to rest overnight while on a 1600km drive split over two days, with two small children. When we arrived, the reception was closed. Eventually we got some access code for a keybox, but that was empty. Luckily the bar next to it was still open and they really tried sorting something out. We were surprised, and I assume so were the guests, when they tried opening a few rooms that had guests inside. Eventually an empty room was found on the top floor, ready for two (we were four). I say ready, but it should really have been cleaned better. We then helped extend the sofa and staff went on a hunt for bedding that fits. Eventually they found it, but we got the pleasure of putting it on while dealing with two tired toddlers. To be fair, the bar staff really tried, it just wasn't their area, and the room should be ready and not their problem. The next day, at check out we received what I at first thought was an apology (parashrasing "German people are normally more organised..."), but it was actually a dig at us for booking very late (I would be very happy to stay elsewhere where the rooms are actually ready, so just don't make it available to me, if you don't want me).We were not quite happy, so we agreed that instead of payment there the management will give us a call to discuss this.A few weeks later my wife received a call, but she was busy, so tells to call her in an hour. No call.Half a year later, there's another call (who I during the call discovered was not actually management), asking for payment (with a "promotion discount" of 30EUR). After a lengthy explanation, we also get some apologies, but basically they were insisting they did their part of the contract and now we must do our (and we even get to avoid interest on the owed money, how kind!).Paid, and will surely not stay there again. How can they improve? When you screw up, own it. Mistakes happen, most people understand that.Avoid if you can.

This is a very quaint, nice hotel. I loved the outdoor sitting area for breakfast or drinks. It was not air conditioned and I had to buy a fan, not a problem, just personal comfort. Americans: there are no washcloths.  …

After reading other reviews I was not expecting much of this hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, spacious and very quiet. Die WIFI connection was fast, streaming videos was not a problem at all. …

It's a 3-story building but there is no elevator. The facilities are old. The corners in my room are not clean. But the most ridiculous is how stingy the hotel is on little amenities.I forgot my toothpaste and asked a woman with a manager tag if she could help. She said yes, then took the little tube of toothpaste out of a toothbrush set and gave it to me. Since I would stay in the hotel for 3 nights, I asked for another one. She promptly said no and suggested me to get it at the supermarket nearby. I think a simple NO at the beginning would have made me feel better. There were two bottles of free sparkling water when I checked in. But the supply would not be refilled in the following days after I finished the first two. And there was shower gel in room but no shampoo. Not so sure what the hotel wants to achieve with such stinginess.

The title is almost the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. The room was also rather big, in contrast to the bathroom which was literally tiny. In general everything looks and feels worn off. …

Great staff, very nice, breakfast is fine as well - however, it is quite outdated and needs to be renovated asap. Worst is that it is not clean though, there are stains all over the room - stayed in nicer hostels and would consider this a guesthouse but not a hotel. All in all way too much money for what you get.
