Very nice and quiet neighborhood! The guesthouse is quietly located on the outskirts of Waldfenster. The pension operators are very friendly and accommodating. A varied and plentiful breakfast is served, which in our opinion left nothing to be desired. The lady of the house kept asking if everything was OK or if we had any specific requests, especially at breakfast. This one always had changing types of jam, cheese or sausage. We always had lovely little conversations with the landlady, whether at breakfast or on other random occasions, where the time flew by.Thank you for this warm and lovely stay and best wishes from Rosenheim to the Rhön.

I came as a stranger and left as a guest. In my opinion, the rooms, service, location, breakfast and hospitality deserve a full 5 stars!I traveled from Hamburg on a motorcycle and Ms. Wenzel put down stone slabs for the side stand so that the motorcycle wouldn't fall over in the grass. Very great gesture! If I'm drawn to this region again, then I know where I want to stay!Thank you so much for the wonderful 5 days!

If you are looking for a good guesthouse in the Burkhardrot area, then you have come to the right place. Nice rooms, great breakfast and very nice service. The room prices are moderate and reasonable. We have been here several times and will definitely come again this year. Highly recommended and centrally located.

An absolutely quiet guesthouse. The “boss” Ms. Wenzel is super nice, courteous and very cooperative. My room is very quiet with a garden view. Everything is very personal and homely. The breakfast is extremely rich with fresh, crispy rolls every day. This guesthouse is absolutely quiet and the price/performance ratio is perfect. Highly recommended.

The guesthouse is absolutely rustic....with a lot of attention to the small details....we were warmly welcomed and felt really comfortable....small problems with wet motorcycle gear...there was a solution and so we could move on to the next one Start the tour dry on the day... after a leisurely breakfast... the guesthouse was like a little hug for me... again at any time

Insects in the pillow, flies, cobwebs and a bad internet connection so I wouldn't recommend it. I'm very sorry for the owners of the house but no, I wouldn't go here again
