We did not stay here, but attempted to get a meal. It was our first night in the area, and as the Gasthaus Kreuz advertised "local food," we thought we could give it a try...that was a mistake.Oil. Everything was drowned in oil. The main course was drowned in oil, the side dishes drowned in oil, the salad ...the salad was drowned in oil. What I could eat left me feeling a bit ill.The experience there was also a bit off. We were the only car in the lot, the locals seemed to only be getting a quick drink before going home, and the atmosphere made me wonder if we were the out-of-town folks in a horror movie.Do yourself a favor, go somewhere, anywhere else to eat. There are some fantastic places in the area, load up Yelp or/and Google and find a different place!

We were very satisfied, the food was very tasty and we didn't have to wait long for it. The boss was very attentive and friendly and happy to chat! We can't rate the rooms because we were only there to eat! We had a very nice evening, thank you and would love to come back!

The restaurant is located right next to a busy roundabout. Parking directly in front of the house is also no problem. But when I'm sitting alone in the restaurant on a Saturday evening around 6:00 p.m. during prime time (that's happened four times!) and hundreds of cars are just driving past the roundabout, something is definitely going wrong. Because the food is really ok and the prices are more than fair. The shop should actually be buzzing like a high-voltage line. But he doesn't! I don't know whether it's because of the rather unmotivated and listless boss Ulrike S., who tends to go to the basement to laugh, or because of the uninviting interior.A cozy atmosphere and warmth definitely look different!There are probably guest rooms in this house, but I can't judge them due to a lack of experience. It's a shame that such a potential gold mine isn't being used profitably....

Fries and spaetzle without salt. Sauce tasteless and meat fatty. Service was so-so nice. Older guests only. Don't say hello and look hard... No second visit

As soon as you entered you were sent away and there was no more food. You weren't even asked about drinking. Very unfriendly. Fortunately. Otherwise you would have to spend more money. NO THANKS!
