An older couple and a sweet little dog welcome the guests in an absolute idyll. Our room was lovingly furnished and I have rarely slept so well. A beautiful garden and access to the Havel invite you to linger. The lovingly laid breakfast table was a splendor in itself. Not a place for action but to relax and enjoy... Perfect for a little vacation from everyday life! Many thanks to the Dost family for the great overall package!

We were here for the second time because it was really nice the first time. We wanted to switch off for 3 days and briefly recover from health problems. However, this was not possible because work was being done right next door from the water.Excavator noise from morning to afternoon, dust from cutting stones, just not nice. You couldn't be outside for 5 minutes during this time.We went to the landlord to politely ask if he could do something to accommodate us given the price, because of the nuisance of noise and dust, but he became unfriendly and insisted on the full amount for 3 nights. We can leave, but everything has to be paid become.For this reason there is only 1 star for service.In my eyes 🤐(I'm not saying that now) but karma will come back to haunt him. 🙏

After I asked Ms. Dost by phone whether it was actually just 7km from the ferry, Mr. Dost called me back and was so unfriendly and aggressive on the phone that I was afraid to get there. He said he wasn't Google Maps and that he would now rent the room to someone else. The deposit I made was no longer that important to me. Something like that has never happened to me before... When I made the reservation, he assured me that it was right on the Havel cycle path and right after the ferry. I was traveling with a child and didn't want to take a 15km detour and had a really, really bad feeling about driving to Havenidyll. The name doesn't fit Mr. Dost at all

We would like to thank the Dost family very much for the great time in their guesthouse. The Dost family is very friendly and always has time for a little chat. The accommodation is in a very idyllic location. Here you can easily switch off from the stress of the big city.For anglers it is paradise.We would like to come back again.Until then, they will stay healthy.Best regardsMaik Liebeskind

We were there to fish and stayed overnight in the accommodation.It was very nice, Mr. Dorst was very nice and explained and showed everything. Everything was clean and completely sufficient for us.Many thanks again to the Dorst family.

We were there for 2 days and it was really nice. A family company, which we always really like on our excursions... Clean, nice little rooms, the Havel to touch. And a breakfast prepared with a lot of love..

We would like to thank you for the relaxing week in your well-kept waterfront property. My husband was able to fish and I just unwinded. Each guest had their own retreat in the garden for barbecuing. We found that very nice and relaxing. Thank you and stay healthy. Many greetings from Leipzig

We only had from August 5th to August 7th. For the Dost family, the bathroom and kitchen could use a renovation, but otherwise everything is very, very nice. Great location, lots of peace and quiet and very nice landlords who I think are always easy to talk to. You don't have to do everything badly with the family. If you want it to be chic and modern, you have to book something like that. We wouldn't have any problems booking there again

1 week vacation with the family. It was wonderful. The location is great, the facilities are a flop. The furniture and carpets smelled old.The landlord was very friendly at first. We received a visit from my sister a day later. The landlord saw her and had a fit and threatened to call the police... She should get off the property... This appearance was completely wrong and almost led to her canceling her vacation.A big NO GO!!Unfortunately I can only give 1 star for the great location.The representation was very nice. Top!

Nice guesthouse for fishing, as it is right on the water and it is possible to rent a boat. Unfortunately not suitable for a visit with small children as there are no entertainment options for children. On the last day we discovered a playground but it was 1.5 km away. Because of the location right next to the water, you couldn't lose sight of the child for a second. Otherwise it is really quiet and well maintained and great for a fishing or cycling holiday. The owners are very friendly.
