We waited more than 40 minutes in front of check-in and the only thing the staff told before even welcoming us or apologizing for the wait was to get our kids out of the way because the person had a headache. We camped with a tent in an impassable place full of rocks while the space with the lawn was reserved for campers. The place is not bad but you never have a view of the water except for a small beach, the rest is inaccessible because private. I leave only one star because the bathrooms were clean. Experience to be forgotten, I wonder how places like this can still exist today.

My experience at this camping site was extremely disappointing. The service provided was subpar, as the reception failed to answer any of my phone calls or emails. Additionally, the only way to make a booking was through their website, which lacked important information. Unfortunately, I wasn't informed beforehand that certain pitches were designated exclusively for campers. It was quite perplexing to discover that tents were referred to as 'carpets' on their website. As a result, on arrival we were met with an unpleasant and rude receptionist who denied us check-in, citing the pitch restriction. This unforeseen circumstance forced us to cancel our holiday plans and return home, ultimately ruining a vacation for 8 people. I wish I could rate this camping site with zero stars, but unfortunately, that option is not available.Overall, I am deeply disappointed with the service and communication provided by this camping site. I would strongly advise potential visitors to seek alternative options to avoid any similar frustrations.

quiet site, no grass and tree roots thru the ground, facilities were clean and ok. bar and restaurant were good but closed monday and tuesdays, no idea why because the camp was almost full when we were there. reception helpful and a short walk to the station for a nine minute ride into potsdam.when we arrived it was a bit worrying when the satnav said, at the end of the road board the ferry lol, just a small cable driven ferry four cars and a motorhome, plus million cyclists haha. also here are a few good restaurants and bars.

We've been here a couple of times, really enjoyed our stay! Really helpful and friendly staff at the reception, nice location, and good access to a little beach. Perfect with a tent - nice and quiet. Bathrooms and showers are also kept very tidy.Overall a very enjoyable stay! Also suited for teenagers:)

Clean bathrooms. Unfortunately, quite isolated if you come without a car - 10-15min from the train station.Could use a better customer service - limited restaurant service / not possible to rent a bike (the closest bike station is 30min walk from there)The touring pitches are a bit expensive (37e per night for 2 without a car in September) while they are close to the train station (if you are a light sleeper maybe that's not for you).

Can I just say that your two team members, gentleman with long hair and a younger lady with dark hair, who helped us out at the railway station were superb!! A real genuine credit to your operation. If we were camping, we'd stay with you!!!!

The place we got is really bad, hard to put up tent because the grind is covered by stone pieces and dirt, no grassfield. The beach is quite small and basic. The eeciption is always packed with long queue and really long wait to get any help from. The shower is really dirty and expensive. In general is not a good campaign place. The good part is the reautarut has really good food. The quality of the did is exceptional

I have been to this campsite in the last years as my father spends his summers on the site and I truly love this campsite. Remote and accessible, Biking to Potsdam is a short way, kayaking to along the Havel a scenic one.My journey brought me back to the ground & I like it here Im Himmelreich.Enjoy the nature and site,Peace,Jan

We got a beautiful quiet spot close to the beach with views all around of the lake. The manager was very friendly and helpful, even called 3 gas stations for me when I needed pasta on a Sunday. Speaks excellent English. Looking forward to going back

After a very short ferry journey ( approx 3mins) from Caputh my son and I found this camp. The woman who booked us in seemed a bit frosty and gave me a resounding 'Nein!' when I asked if she spoke English. Despite that we spent the night and had a lovely swim in the river which was nice and warm. There is a nice restaurant and the showers.toilets and wash up areas were clean. We used it as a stopover on our way to Berlin.
