Quite old, but cosy enough, for the price of 60 Euro per night, you get a bed, a spotlessly clean room and the bathroom was actually large and practical. Staff friendly, you collect your key at the brasserie downstairs

The guesthouse is very centrally located in Potsdam. There is a parking garage just a 5-minute walk away; a day ticket (24 hours) costs a fair 20 euros. All of the important everyday holiday essentials such as trams, buses, supermarkets and breakfast options are within walking distance. The room was very clean and newly renovated, even the top shower rail was sparkling clean, as we were pleased to see after hanging the towel over it. We had a lot of space and the layout of the room seemed very comfortable. There is even a small fridge, glasses, cups, a kettle, tea and instant coffee. A hairdryer, shower gel, soap and towels are also available. The television offers relaxation after a long day of sightseeing. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, thank you for that! However, we noticed two tiny minus points, which can be easily remedied if necessary: there are only blackout curtains in the room, additional bright blinds to protect the view from the neighbors would be great. Unfortunately, the stairwell to the rooms also shares the kitchen... Kitchen smells and built-up heat in front of the rooms included, perhaps different ventilation would be possible.Overall, a really highly recommended place to stay, we would love to come back!

Spartan furnished room with everything you need for a night. You can get the key in the brasserie. Since the brasserie only opens later, it is advisable to pay the day before. …

The "Pension zu Gutenberg" offers accommodation, but no food, which is something you should know when staying here. There are various breakfast options nearby. …

The staircase to the room already made an extremely unkempt impression and it smelled musty. Single room No. 1 was spartan and had outdated furniture. …

The rooms are musty and not very inviting, the furnishings urgently need modernization. …

Very good food, certainly not the cheapest, but quality has its price. The restaurant is nice and simply furnished. The staff is fine. We have been here twice: first without, then with a voucher. Both times the quality and quantity was great.

In a quiet location, clean rooms. Currently no breakfast, but instant coffee and kettle in the room. I liked it a lot.

Television is only possible to a limited extent. Showering was only possible with cold water and no one was available to fix the problem. A pity.

Nice guesthouse with brasserie. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. Quite central location, but still quiet at night. The only small drawback: You can normally only check in from 3 p.m. and if you want to check out in the morning, you should ask about payment the day before, as no one may be there before 12 p.m.
