The atmosphere at this place is remarkably pristine and exudes a charming retro vibe that transports you right back to the groovy 70s. The rooms are generously spacious, and we were fortunate to have a room that offered a picturesque view of the valley and the lush forests beyond.The breakfast experience was a delightful journey into old Bavarian traditions, resembling a cozy hunter's cafe. While the breakfast offerings followed a more traditional and classic approach, they were satisfying and flavorful.What truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and welcoming hospitality of the lady who managed everything. Her friendliness added a special touch to our visit, making us feel right at home. And to top it all off, the prices were quite reasonable, making it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to relish a nostalgic getaway.

When we booked, we have been warned that is not a luxurious place and we should not expect it.But no one warned us that we will end up in a corner of the paradise. Sleeping in big, comfortable beds and waking up in birdsong....we felt spoiled. The morning continued with the same treatment when the owner said "tell me what you want to eat and I'll cook it for you". Is like visiting family not a pension.We will definitely return, it was a great surprise.Huge natural beauty, deer coming to eat from our hands, cherry trees full of fruits, we enjoyed every of them.Pet friendly policy ...was just the cherry on top of the cake.

The rooms exude the charm of the 80s, but are spacious, have a balcony and are very clean. The 5g WiFi is easy to receive throughout the house. The hosts are very welcoming and we were helped in a friendly and quick manner in all matters.The generous breakfast is recommended, we were also allowed to fill our thermos flask with coffee for the journey ahead of us.We once again felt very comfortable and will come back.

Extremely friendly, caring host family!Was picked up from the Schrottenbaummühle by car and dog. I was also called in advance telling me not to pay for an upgrade via the booking portal, as I would receive it that way.Dog was welcome. Breakfast as desired.

Large bedroom with terrace, large bathroom from the 70s and 80s. Low sink. Not soundproof but nice.The host is very kind and welcoming.Breakfast was served.

Very nice hostess.Rooms from the 1970s, but nice and big and clean. Breakfast with sausage, cheese, jam, egg and yoghurt was completely sufficient. And as much coffee as you wanted 😊Only the mattresses were too soft for us.
