This is a nice family-owned hotel. It is within walking distance of the Freising train station or it is an easy bus ride. the bus stop to the train is directly across the street. The hotel and rooms could use some modernization but the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. If you are a swimmer, the hotel is within easy walking distance of the Fresch public swimming pool and sauna.

Quick one night stop which we chose for its proximity to the airport. Quiet location - even the Uber driver had trouble locating it. Easy access out of the city, clean room and the most fantastic traditional Bavarian breakfast! So much choice.

I had a wonderful stay at the Isar Hotel. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and perfect for an overnight stay. While not luxurious, the accommodations provided everything needed for a comfortable night.The staff's friendliness and helpfulness were standout features of my stay. It felt like I was in a family-owned hotel, and their willingness to lend me a phone charger for a few hours was a thoughtful touch.The breakfast was another highlight, surpassing the quality of most larger hotel chains I've visited. Overall, the Issr Hotel is an excellent place to stay, especially if you're looking for a welcoming atmosphere and great value. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others and will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the train station and the center of town. Ample parking. Clean rooms. Breakfast was excellent on all the days that we stayed. The staff would bend over backwards to help with any problems that might arise (Thanks Maureen!). The beer in the bar was Weihenstephaner so how can you go wrong with that? Had a great time here and would highly recommend it. It is a 1/2 hour train ride to Munich so you can avoid all the noise and traffic of Munich and still get to Oktoberfest! If we go back to Munich we will stay here again.
