Booked a special dinner. We had 12 people at the event. Service was overall pretty bad. We sat there for at least 20 minutes before we even got to order drinks. I finally went to find someone to order. I would’ve thought more attentive service would have happened.

I reserved a party of 15 for an office function. This was my first time experiencing the food. The food was fantastic. Our group had fish, flammkuchen, salads, their charcuterie board, and others. Everything came out extremely well prepared and well timed. Staff were all patient and polite though we spoke little German and a few of the staff were very kind and hospitable. My only complaint is the price to value ratio is slightly off. It does not warrant removing a star and the portion sizes and food quality were on point. But if the prices overall were 10 to 15 percent less it would have been perfection. Regardless of the prices it is a great place and very welcoming to foreigners.

Went for the biergarten. It was really nice. The best flamkuchen I’ve ever had. Boars gin and tonic was really good also.

In the quaint little area of Plienigen just a few steps from the end of the U3 line sits this cute Biergarten/restaurant and hotel. Choose to sit in the sun or the shade of large, mature trees and choose either chairs or bench style seating. They have a limited menu specializing in Swabian fare such as tripe, ravioli, lentils and sausage with spatzle, schnitzel, cordon bleu, sausage salads, wood fired bread and more.Service was attentive and accommodating with a couple special requests. Very pleased

Did not stay at this place but rather popped in for a bite to eat for lunch. A real foodie menu presented itself despite it being lunchtime, with great selection of select cuisine in offer. Choice on offer was amazing, not your usual fare but instead some more traditional German dishes with a twist. Overall food was great, however was a little expensive for the result, so minus 1 star for value. Everything else, service, location, selection etc, all highly recommended.
