We have now spent 6 nights in Haus Elve and this is our conclusion: perfect! We didn't lack anything, everyday items were available in small quantities (dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tabs, kitchen towels, sponges/rags, washing machine pods, toilet paper, cleaners, spices, tea, etc.). Certainly also some from pre-vacationers. Towards the end we only had to buy a little more and we just left some of it there. The house itself is clean, nice and modernly furnished (lots of Ikea). We were 4 adults and a toddler (2.5 years). We particularly liked that a lot of attention was paid to child safety/needs, sockets and oven flap were secured, TV in the bedroom was secured against tipping over, cables were stored in channels, in the bathroom there was a stool for the sink, books for children and games for them There were big and small too.A smart TV is available for Netflix etc., as well as a small USB charging station for cell phones/tablets.Although it is a semi-detached house, we didn't notice anything from the neighbors. In general, the house is not noisy. We had two very hot days with temperatures over 32 degrees, but the temperature in the house was always pleasant. The surroundings are beautiful, located in the middle of grain fields, De Poeler Drift is more of a small holiday village with many thatched houses, very quiet, as there is no traffic in the immediate area and we hardly noticed anything from the neighboring houses. There is also a small playground (swing, seesaw). The beach can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes, and a small grocery store for essentials and fresh bread rolls can also be reached in about 10 minutes.Even on Sundays there is a lot going on in Zierow (beach restaurants, grocery store). For larger purchases (Kaufland, Marktkauf, dm, Rossmann) you don't have to drive 10 minutes by car. The beach itself was not overcrowded and people were able to spread out well. Great for little ones too, as you can walk almost 400m in knee-deep water. When the weather was good, the water was pleasantly mild.Since the beach gets a little rockier towards the water, we would recommend beach shoes or something similar for the little ones, especially when digging by the water. On the beach itself there are playgrounds, snack bars and restaurants. The garden with terrace is great for eating and playing outside. In the shed you will also find a handcart for trips to the beach. A brick grill with utensils is available, you just have to buy meat yourself and refill what you have used up.The zoo, the harbor and the old town in Wismar and Bad Boltenhagen, where you can also ride a pony at the local riding stables, are worthwhile for excursions.Minor notes:Unfortunately, the insect screen in the shed for the patio door couldn't be attached, so you had to close the door in the evening because otherwise the mosquitoes would come. The water is very calcareous (hardness level 4) and therefore very cloudy, not for everyone. We just bought water.A larger drying rack would have been ideal, but it was sufficient for small laundry.Internet/cell phone is very spotty in the area. With Vodafone you hardly have any reception, internet is sufficient, but can sometimes be a bit weak. But it depends on the area and maybe it will get better. But these are small things and didn't affect our vacation any further. We and especially our little one had a quiet and very nice time and will probably even come back next year.
