Inexpensive, decent guesthouse on the outskirts of Schwerin. After telephone consultation, it was also possible for us to arrive outside reception hours. The parking space in front of the house is free. Tram line 2 is nearby. With a day ticket you can travel flexibly and quickly to the city center and of course to the famous Schwerin Castle.

We stayed from December 1st to December 3rd in a double room. Paid 140 euros. The room is spacious and clean. There is no breakfast at all. There is a kitchen where you can cook anything yourself. There is no staff at all. We were accommodated and that was all. There is no note or at least some piece of paper with the Wi-Fi password anywhere. I found out from those staying at the hotel! If you have a lot of weight (90 kg and above), the slats on the beds do not hold up and fall out of the grooves (we had to repair them three times). When checking out, you just had to leave the key in the door from the outside. Only the guests said goodbye to us. Living in this place is not worth that kind of money!!!

My wife and I wanted to go to my old home town of Schwerin after 1.5 years and checked into this house on Whitsunday.For 140 euros (for 2 nights)I would have expected more.There was no breakfast (supposedly due to Corona), that's clear. That's why no test is necessary and no masks are required.Furthermore, a missing tile in the bathroom and therefore a hole in the wall.Black mold spots on the silicone joints in the shower.Not even WiFi or telephone in the room.Once and never again.Absolutely the last resort.Of staff you can contact: No trace.And the reception (a glass table with a chair) in the hallwayIt's only open from 6-7pm, at least it's at the door....unfortunately also none.Once and never again!!!!!!!!!!I could have flushed the 140 euros down the toilet.The biggest problem, however, was the question of whether I needed an invoice.When I said no, the receipt pad quickly disappeared and the money went into the receptionist's pocket.

For this good price we had a good double room according to the price category. Everything was clean and tidy and the breakfast was also very good for an extra 5 euros. Fresh coffee and fresh fruits and vegetables. So we can fully recommend this guesthouse for a short trip to Schwerin.
