Very nice place with lovely host. Electricity and showers included and facilities are clean - although somewhat difficult to access with a broken knee (you need to mount a staircase to get there). Plus for location, hospitality, fresh drinking water supply close to every pitch, spacious pitches, and dog friendliness. Minus for price; 31€ for parking (motorhome), 7€ per person and 6€ PER DOG! Total 67€ for us for one night, 2 persons, 3 dogs. (Oh, and bring some insect repellent - this is of course just nature's ways but we were attacked by hoards of something in the evening - they did not sting though.)Previous reviews have stated that cleaning/closing times of the facilities were unpractical - this has been changed and cleaning is now done very early in the morning and in the afternoon. The beach and the water are clean also, no sign of the goose droppings mentioned earlier.Would like to come back, but sceptical due to the price.

Very nice place, well situated by the Plauen See . Friendly hosts, and a well managed camping. Clean!Quite distant away from everything but the Bar/restaurant holds most of what you need for a short stop. We enjoyed a two nights stay and I will most definitely return. We stay in a caravan, If you are on a Bike tour with a tent, you may have other requirements. I've only commented on what we've used and seen.

Just no. Don’t even think about it. If you do think about it, consider the following:It’s not clean. It’s not very friendly. The opening hours are weird and, as a misguided gesture of welcome, you will be charged extra if you arrive early. It has only what appears to be permanent German residents, who are also not very friendly. All rules and information is very gently presented to you in German, as to not give the impression of welcoming international guests. It’s horrifically overpriced. When you are having dinner, be prepared to be air bombed by stinging ants. Their colonies also have infantry attacking you from below, Vietcong style. To add a little zest to your already all other than pleasant stay, all green areas are covered in goose droppings. The same goes for the water and shores, which are infested by feces and feathers from the same birds. If you after all feel the urge to stop here, ignore it and go somewhere else.

If you fancy bird poop on the shoreline and around (watch your steps, the poops are bigger than usual!), filthy sanitary facilities, stinging ants in and around, on top of and inside your tent and at your dinner place, this is the place for you! Add to that an arrogant and rude staff member, not willing to repay anything of the fee of 42 Euros it costs to pitch a tent, (without any additional costs) even though we had only been on the camp site for a couple of hours. And, if you arrive earlier than what they think is acceptable, be willing to pay 8 Euros for an “early arrival”.

We camped with a tent in the woods and we loved it! The camping has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and great infrastructure (hot water without token!). A bit more expensive than the campings we've been in the region, but totally worth it! We're definitely coming back

I tryed to mail and phone this camp for a reservation to us and our motorhome. No answer..When we passed the camp we drived against the reception, but it was closed. !We had been on a two month travelling in Europe and never seen a closed reception because of lunch.I looked at a house between the reception and there was everybody. I asked if we cold drive in and only look. The answere I got was , in an hour!!!!!It was raining and not fun to sit in the car and wait four the staff of ca seven persons to hawe lunch. In sweden we split the lunch ,so that the guests not must wait. We turn and drove away to another camp. We will never come backWohnmobil

Gorgeous views, friendly, but loads of insects - to be expected when all pitches are next to the lake. Beware toilet facilities up very steep steps and one is mixed sexes

Nice and very well maintinenced campsite with very fresh facilitices. There is a small and very nice restaurant on the campsite. There is a small sandbeach in the area and the lake is great for swimming and playing as it is very shallow.

If you are a foreigner, do not go here. At the front desk they think it's funny to laugh with foreigners so they get the points of the young girls. In the restaurant - which is very small - they speak dialect so you should not feel welcome and there is only room for regular customers. No possibility of purchasing food or drink. A pitch for one night on grassland without shadow or other costs 30 €.

The service I received was inadequate. The location seems to be great. Edit: Yeah, sure thing. Am sorry I did not have the exact €5 you asked for. Why exactly did you not accept card, or the €50 I gave you?
