I had special event in this place everything was more than perfect ..The view ,food and service was really good .me& my wife was so happy and satisfied

The castle from the outside makes a very good impression. It is quiet and right on the lake. But the water is very cloudy - I don't want to swim there. The castle also has a terrace. Even though it said the café was open, everything was locked.

Daschow Castle with its lovingly furnished rooms is beautifully located on Lake Daschow.We particularly recommend the concert evenings in this beautiful ambience, to which the lord of the castle always invites first-class musicians. During the break, delicious homemade food is also served during these almost fairytale-like “living room concerts”.We have been concert guests here several times and would like to come back in the future.

We wanted to celebrate our birthday there and discussed everything several times. When we arrived they didn't know anything. I have never experienced anything so unprofessional. They explain to you several times on the phone what they bake fresh, that we can make requests for the cake, and then none of it is there.

16.5. 2024Today we were looking forward to a delicious piece of cake in this delightful little castle, which has rightly been praised very much. Since we were delayed, we didn't arrive until 4:45 p.m., but the café is open until 5 p.m. - we thought.Well, the door was locked, we rang the bell and after a while an obviously not happy gentleman appeared and asked us harshly if we had looked at the clock.A little tormented, he asked us to come in and ran away, us following.So we ended up in the kitchen, where we were very resolutely told that we had no business there and were asked what we actually wanted. We repeated our request for a piece of cake. Answer: “Now? Well then sit in!” We offered to leave the house again if it wasn’t convenient, but were asked to finally go in, although we didn’t know what “in” meant, we were there 1st time here.The Lord then assigned us a specific room. We asked if it would be possible to eat the cake on the lovely outdoor terrace. He probably didn’t like that so much: “Really? Well, if you really want to…”We were allowed to choose our piece of cake, ordered a pot of coffee and sat outside. The cake was served - it was delicious - and the coffee also came with a jug of milk. When I asked if it had already been sweetened, the answer was: “You need sugar too?” We got our sugar and hurried with our “coffee klatch” so that we were finished at 5:03 p.m.Since we were really late, we at least carried our dishes etc. into the house, which was acknowledged with a short thank you.All in all, it was a very special experience that we hadn't expected based on most of the reviews.

The country hotel is in a super idyllic and quiet location. There is absolute silence and lots of nature there. You can easily explore the area on foot and have a view of the nearby lake from many rooms. The park at the castle is well maintained.The service is very nice and accommodating. Everything seems to be done by a nice lady. And it works great. The breakfast was varied, tasty and extensive. Unfortunately there is no option to have lunch or dinner there. But Plau am See is not far away and always worth a trip. There you will find enough good restaurants and snack bars. The small café has, among other things, cakes and warm drinks to choose from.The rooms are furnished in the style of a country hotel and are quite comfortable. There are a few small signs of wear here and there. Our bathroom was very practical with a shower and hairdryer.Overall, highly recommended.

Super nice location, very quiet on a small lake. I spent a bit of time in the publicly accessible rooms. These were furnished very stylishly and appropriately for the house. We sat on the terrace for a coffee and maybe cake. There were a few tables occupied, including 15 people. All other guests were already taken care of, one lady was just getting her order. Although the service staff briefly took notice of us, we received no further care. The second lady with the tray also studiously ignored us. A pity. We then left. The visit left me with the impression that the upscale ambience here does not go hand in hand with the professional gastronomic skills.(This review reflects my personal opinion only.)

By pure chance we passed Daschow Castle today and stopped for a café, rhubarb spritzer and cake. A fantastic location, very nice and attentive service and delicious cake. The ideal backdrop for a wedding or celebration. Definitely worth a visit.
