Very nice place to stay. Quiet, green surroundings, breakfast on terrace possible, I love the atmosphere every time I stay here. Rooms are clean and straight forward. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

I arrived today. The first Impression is excellent. Impressive building, nuns too live and work here. If you wanna meditate and worship I strongly recommend Himmelspforten for a retreat.

Nice accommodation, clean rooms and nice service. The breakfast offers a good selection of regional and home-prepared dishes. Easily accessible by car, parking spaces available. Walk to the old town approx. 45 minutes.

Guests at the Himmelspforten retreat house. Checking in the evening before is no problem. The door code was sent and the room key was left - very uncomplicated.Room: Nice little room, equipped with the essentials. I liked the big table, I could work easily there. The bed was "moderately comfortable". The bathroom was large, everything was fine.Food: Large and delicious breakfast selection. During breakfast you could hear soft classical music - very relaxing. Lunch was served to the table. Always 4 courses, there was a menu and the choice between vegetarian or not. The disadvantage of serving was that I couldn't choose my food, nor the quantity. And that eating took longer overall. For dinner there was a mixed, very tasty buffet with a wide selection.Service + Staff: The staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly and accommodating. Coffee and snacks were available for a limited time during the day. Requests were addressed.Surroundings: This place and its surroundings exude a lot of peace. It's really nice to walk here, I really liked the garden. It has quiet oases and food, lots of seating, everything is clean and tidy. There are rooms for resting, couches and armchairs, a TV room, rooms for getting together, a chapel.

We held our wedding reception in Himmelspforten last year and it was just really, really good. We searched for a long time in and around Würzburg and then decided on this great place.The area is beautifully spacious, diverse and quiet, you can walk between the meadows in the park or in the Garden of Silence, everyone can stand together in the spacious areas and celebrate and the backyard with terrace and meadow offers a great refuge to feel good and to celebrate. The building impresses with its history and its state of preservation...if the walls could talk...The food was very tasty. The menu was even planned personally with the chef. In terms of organization, I have rarely experienced anything better in the run-up to and during the evening; we received excellent support the entire time. And in the end the price/performance ratio was very good.We would recommend it to anyone and everyone if the question came up.

Nicely laid out and modernized. Old monastery meets modern furnishings. Well suited for a conference. Unfortunately it's in something like an industrial area, but you can easily "escape" on foot. The meeting rooms and the dining room do not have good acoustics for many people. It's a bit noisy.The rooms are good and clean. The service and friendliness are excellent.

I have been a guest at Heaven's Gates several times now. Mostly as part of a training course in the fall, but now also for the first time for three nights on our vacation.The building simply has so much charm, just walking through the cloister is something. The park is really beautiful and invites you to just sit on a bench and relax for a while.The staff is consistently friendly and helpful.The rooms are simple and clean, the fact that there are no double beds is a bit of a shame, but it's bearable. If you are looking for luxury accommodation, this may be the wrong place for you, but if you can do without that and are simply looking for something a little different, this is absolutely the right place for you.I think the breakfast is great, it's rich but without being over the top. You don't get the feeling that half of it has to be thrown away after breakfast.Sustainability is generally valued in many areas.In summer you can also sit in the courtyard of the self-service cafe in the evening. This is pure deceleration and relaxation.I would choose the Himmelspforten again in Würzburg at any time!

Super nice courtyard.Everything looks well looked after.Were only there for a live concert, so I can't comment on that.But from the outside it looks really great.
