The location of the hotel is really good, center of the city and 2 minutes walking from U2 Laine of Berlin subway. The room was surprisingly small. On morning time long time wait for elevator. …

I stayed at Motel One Berlin - Spittelmarkt for 2 nights in mid-June. There were four of us. We went to Germany for Euro 24, and Berlin was the first stop.| |The hotel location was convenient, with a metro station near the hotel.  …

Good location, lovely hotel and the decor in the public reception area was cool and quirky! The room decor was basic and quite small, would have been good to carry the same theme throughout! Good location, next to metro station, near a Lidl and friendly staff!

It really is a Travelodge in disguise. Tiny room. Devoid of any comforts. Bare minimum amenities. No pretence of even being close to a ‘hotel’ in terms of description. No coffee or teabags. No coffee or cups or glasses. …

Poor value-for-money. Service was unfriendly. Room was not cleaned properly. Towels were dirty. Cleaning staff tri⁷ed to enter the room despite the Do Not Disturb sign hanging on the door outside. No safety chain on the inside of the room door.Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and it fell below my expectations of the Motel One brand.

For the price we paid to stay here we expected a lot more, small room and quite basic, but clean. No kettle, no iron ( not that there's enough room to iron anyway) not even a welcome bottle of water.Staff were friendly enough, but our shower gel vanished on day 1 and was never replaced. Can't comment on breakfast because we didn't think €120 for 4 days breakfast was acceptable.Overall a nice hotel but all the money was spent on reception/ lobby bar.Wouldn't retun , could stay anywhere in Berlin for this price .

I really liked it, basic but very comfortable room. Everything was clean working well. The location is fantastic. There are a lot of public areas and the feeling is great. Good value for your money.

Poor rooms. Cramped. Simply painting a very bog-standard, basic student accommodation block a pretty shade of blue, does not make it into a hotel. Very poor range of facilities. In essence, the only thing this place has going for it is its location.

Overall, okay-ish option for very short stays exploring predominantly the „Museumsinsel“. Clean rooms, however, tiny space offering no place to hang clothes other than 2 small hangers. Single-sink bathroom offering barely enough space to turn, with no amenities other than a shampoo. Incredibly unfriendly service upon check-in by „Jenny“. Despite double bedroom booking, surcharge for second person(?).We had some security concerns as anyone is able to access all floors without necessity to have a room card - particularly questionable in this location in Berlin.Room service entering while still knocking despite being asked to wait a second- clear no-go. Would search for a different option next time.

There is no mini fridge or kettle in the room. And if you need cutlery or to take dinner you have to go to the bar and ask them. There is no real dinner just some sandwiches. The cleaning lady entered twice in my room when I was in there without even knocking at my door. It was kind of scary. The location is great, the aesthetic of the place is great and the staff is very kind
