Overall I was very pleased and happy to have chosen this hotel. Nice stay in a friendly environment. Rooms were very good and comfortable. Unfortunately there was no airconditioning which was embarrassing with the heat. Good breakfast and nice square to relax outside. Not much choice for the drinks but there was enough opportunity in the neighborhood to find all you need.Friendly service.

The hotel is in an excellent location! In 10 minutes walking you are at the central train station where you can go everywhere, in 5 minutes there are metro, tram and bus stops. We easily arrived at the hotel where we checked in very easily and the staff is pleasant, kind and very helpful! Regarding the room, it was small (we chose it) but neat, but very clean! The negatives are the absence of a refrigerator and the lack of air conditioning (there was a small fan). On days like ours (August 17-22) it was tolerable during the day and good at night with an open window. I will not talk about the breakfast because we had not included it in our reservation but we considered it a bit expensive for 15/person per day. Our overall experience was good and to the pros I will add the free storage of our luggage after check out because we had an evening flight. We recommend it with all our pleasure!

Pros:- Staff are friendly and go the extra to help out. Excellent English.- Very clean.- Great location close to lots of restaurants and a supermarket close by.Cons:- Breakfast is pretty basic.- Rooms are small.A great location with the subway and tram nearby make it a good choice, worth it if you don't plan on spending much time in your room.

This was a very nice place to stay at. The location was great and the staff very friendly. We loved renting bikes from them for a day. Berlin is easy to bike in. It would have been nice if there was free coffee and tea in the room. The minibar was a bit cheesy but It is definitely a hotel rather than a BnB. We would stay here again.

We have been here for five days. The rooms are very clean and quiet, breakfast is really good, salted or sweet, as you wish. Special mention to the great female staff! The guy who checked us in the first day, seemed not so happy to be there, or to have to deal with us. He barely said "Hello" the next morning, and the second day he didn't even notice that we passed by the reception and said "Good morning". As a person who has a degree in hospitality and worked more than five years in this kind of accommodations, I feel to suggest him to smile more, and even it is a bad day, to do your job at your best, so guests won't feel embarrassed when coming to your desk.Above all, thank you for great stay!

A small room without air conditioning, old and improper furniture, this is about the room... a team of fraudsters fined us 500 euros for "breaking the door" It should be noted that we did not break the fine, it was a real theft, we received a fine for smoking which we paid with love and a smile because we really did In short, this is a bad team of bad people who steal money from their customers in the name of a fine. It should be noted that Adbel is a thief. He used to visit us every morning to check that the room was okay, yet we left the hotel with a 650 euro fine!!! theft!!!

Staffs organization and communication excellent. The metro, bahn 5 minutes walk from hotel. The room is cleaned everyday and quites. Common place nice. There is many affordable restaurant on arround. I could easily stay here again.

The Calma Berlin Mitte hotel is a great place where you can relax in a big city such as Berlin. I enjoyed the fact that you can get a nice drink in the breakfast hall whenever you want from 1 to 9 p.m. The room was very nice as well, cozy and clean. I had a great time in this hotel and I higly recommend it. The hotel is also eco-friendly since you can chose if you want your room and towels to be cleaned every day or not, it's up to you!10/10

The CALMA Berlin Mitte hotel is a great hotel with a few minor issues. We stayed there for four nights for a great price and would most likely stay again. The hotel was very clean and brand new and the rooms were massive. Also, the staff working at the hotel were extremely kind and helpful. The hotel was located next to many amazing restaurants and near many attractions. The hotel had no AC which is common in many Berlin hotels. For the time of year we were staying in it was unusually hot, by night it cooled down and opening the windows helped. One problem that led too was an extremely strong curry smell from an Indian restaurant across the street. This smell wouldn’t affect every room though as it depended on the wind. This was a great hotel and I do recommend using it if visiting Berlin.
