Booked 3 nights and paid for everything upfront (including breakfast). When my father unexpectedly passed away, I contacted the hotel right away to inform I would not be able to stay, and if it would be possible to get a partial refund. No answer, only a message a few days later asking me to confirm I did not stay there (probably to save on the commission fees booking.com will charge them)I tried to call; just 10 minutes waiting music, but nobody ever picked up. I emailed; no answer. When I finally received an answer to my message 3! weeks later it was short: unfortunately, we are unable to waive the fee. Thanks. Very compassionate.I run a hotel myself, I fully understand that you can't refund everything. I did not ask for that. But I gave notice, and you were not fully booked, which means you did not miss out on potential bookings. And it was on a Monday, not known for its high demand anyways. The breakfast was not eaten by us either, so you could have also easily refunded that fee.You made 418 euros for doing absolutely nothing, well done

This review is no joke! During check in they told me thst there is a problem with my room and that I cannot stay. I have to take a taxi to another hotel that is „5min away“. They called a cab and escorted me 20 (!) min away to another hotel. The cab driver didn‘t know anything so I was supposed to pay the cab. I was finally able to solve that problem but ended 10km away in another part of Berlin. No sorry or any form of compensation. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

Definitely worth checking out if you need a hotel in Berlin and want to be close to centre of the city. I would definitely recommend to stay here if you are planning on exploring the city as a whole and are not super focused on staying in only one district. Price was more than reasonable. Room was clean and spacious. While usually not a fan of breakfast I can recommend the breakfast buffet (especially if you are staying here for business). Also very close by to a nice park and beer garden

Would not recommend.Firstly, the noise that travels into the rooms from the hallways, reception and street is unacceptable. It may be acceptable in a youth hostel, but definitely not for a hotel at this price point.Also, it is a long way from all the key attractions. You will spend a lot of your time travelling/commuting - you including extra cost to do so

Do not stay at this hotel. Accidentally booked a mobility impaired room and asked staff if we could change rooms as the shower flooded the bathroom when using. Staff were rude and condescending. Paid around $120 more to change rooms. The new room had a walk in shower but was noisy. Shame on you GERMANS.

The bed is the nicest thing about the room, as well as the location (to some extent). The service is awful. The receptionists are kind but the cleaning staff does not do a good job of cleaning the room. On check-in, I saw immediately in the shower, hair not cleaned from the drain and/or walls of the shower (not mine!) + chewing gum stuck underneath the tv. I informed the staff about this before I left for the day but they still didn’t clean that up when I got back to the hotel. So while the location is good, it’s a sad service for the price.

A great hotel where we comfortably stayed 3 nights. We payed a little extra for the breakfast each morning and it was so good. Tons of variety and premium items available. Its about a 30 minute walk to many of the main attractions in Berlin, however it is only around a 7 minute walk to the Gleisdreieck U-bahn station, which can easily whisk you to Wilhelm memorial church and East Side Gallery. And only one transfer or two to see everything else Berlin has to offer. In a quiet neighborhood with a park, where you avoid most of the city hustle and bustle. They do not have laundry available to guests, and you will have to walk to a laundromat for those services. The rooms had AC and are refurbished every two nights. If you're savvy with public transit, this is a great option and I would stay here again.

To close to the track used by EuropaMundo, asked to be moved and front desk response was that the company book this room for me. To far from museum, and key places to visit. Front desk people not friendly maybe language barrier. Surprise of the approach of customer service
