Very basic room, twin beds, no tea or coffee making facilities. Exceptionally clean room, good en-suite. Good continental breakfast. Quiet street, parking. Choice of restaurants with in a 5 minute walk. Would use again

We were warmly welcomed. The rooms were up to date, it's a shame that there is no breakfast, so the price for the rooms is a bit too high but still within reason. There is a good dinner in the restaurant nearby (German cuisine 👍). Breakfast is down the main street and then left.

I booked the room spontaneously for the trade fair in Essen. Everything worked wonderfully, check-in was easy and very friendly. The rooms are clean, cozy, quiet and completely adequately equipped. Thank you.

A small cozy hotel.I found the owner very positive, as he proudly presented me with his son's homemade honey. The environment is very quiet and the bare necessities are available. Of course it's not a luxury hotel, but it's still the bare essentials you need for an overnight stay.Thank you very much and good luck with the delicious honey.

Great clean accommodation in a quiet area. Top condition with a large room and a beautiful new bathroom.Breakfast was very simple here, we would have liked more choice and fresh fruit. Nice hosts, everything was very uncomplicated. We would come again! Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, the response to inquiries was very unfriendly and also became personal.I would never ask here again, as the treatment of a customer should be the absolute priority. I wanted to arrive late in the day (11 p.m. to 1 a.m.) and asked if anyone could suggest anything to me since, funnily enough, I also work and can't lie around in the hotel from morning to night. And you can only check in from 3:00 p.m., I didn't know any limit (night safe!?).I then received a really very unfriendly answer that I should “just arrive earlier”.Dear people, when I ask if I can arrive late, there is a reason and not on a whim. 😉And when I asked for help and I found the whole thing very inflexible, the answer I got was: “You don’t need guests!”Well, then I hope that you are happy with your company and that, based on my experience, normal people are discouraged from doing this in their free time.

Completely unsuitable for a mourning cafe. Locally, the greatest emphasis is placed on insane, self-invented corona rules. The staff wasn't particularly friendly. The selection of food and drink was ok and was served on time.

I will never enter this "cafe" again!! I visited this cafe as part of a breakfast after a funeral at around 1 p.m. and was complimented with my dog in a rather rude manner with reference to a buffet and two complaints from the health department. At this point there was no buffet taking place and the covered plates were completely empty in the passage, but my dog could be the cause of hair in the buffet. What about any hair on the staff? None of the employees or the innkeeper himself wore a "hood" of any kind to prevent hair from getting into the food!!! When the soup was served, I asked about the buffet and was told by the staff that there is no buffet!!!

Was there as a hotel guest. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The service was very good. The breakfast corresponds to a Garni Hotel. Everything you need for breakfast was there. You have to pay more for more.

Very friendly and flexible host family. Everything was super clean, breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Special requests for breakfast were also taken into account. Highly recommended, including the immediate surroundings.
