What can we say, only had one night here, but it was perfectly positioned in Bruggen. Easy parking and a very central location. The room was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable indeed. Breakfast was superb and set us up for the day. Will certainly look forward to return. Thank you to the owner, Joanna.

Outside looks a bit dated, but the inside was beautiful! We got a chamber of three which had everything a hotel chamber needs. Also there is a delicious Italian Restaurant next to the hotel. I can't explain all of it, you'll just have to try it yourself!

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my stay in this hotel.Due to a medical condition I am dependent on assistance dog. This was indicated by a family member when booking via Booking and after some messages back and forth over this, the booking was approved.However, during the stay we ran into several problems with the owner about the assistance dog, which resulted in a heated dispute/discussion in which the owner was not open to reason. This dispute triggerd me to have a seizure that forced me to go home early.Because I don't want this to happen to anyone else, I would like to advise the owner to read up on German and European law over allowing assistance dogs in public places and equal treatment. Many information on this matter can be found online.The hotelroom and breakfast were fine.

We had a lovely stay here. Great beds and clean room. Nice and enthusiastic owner. After a long day hiking it’s a nice place to arrive. The breakfast was okay and simple.

Yes, you take the stairs to floor 1 or 2. The rooms are functional, comfortable and clean. Shower is excellent. Breakfast is more than enough and food and fruit for the walk back...|Family run, very central in brueggen old town. Service with a smile was invented here..

Very poor hospitality. Managed by the owner, Complained that we wanted to pay by card, physically dismissed us and huffed when we asked for a spare room key because a few of us needed to split up. Dont ask for any extras as thet arent very accomodating. The Rooms are basic but clean, good shower and a very very soft bed. It's was Overpriced for what we ended up with, which was a few notches up from a hostel. That's travelling. The Quiet village it's located in is beautiful though.

I've lived out of the country for 31 years,am Dutch, born and raised;By far the best hotel I've been to in europe in al the years!!"Gast vriendelijkheid", clean,spotless room to stay in, had my own balcony to sit out in de sun (although wintertime!). Great,delicious filling breakfast with all you can ask for and a feel of "home" when you're away from home,hotel Schiffchen! Thank you

It is a quaint hotel... There is no elevator so you have to take rounded stairs to reach your room... Room are not big enough... But they are well furnished especially the bathroom and the shower they are good... …

Very nice and cosy hotel. The rooms have everything you could need: a complete bathroom, wifi, tv... Friendly staff and close to the center of the village.
