Do not book here! This was the worst experience I've ever had. The receptionist was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. She seemed to handle everything—reception, management, security, and emergencies—and did a terrible job at all of them!I had an emergency and couldn’t check in on time, with no internet access to contact the property. Based on their Q&A on booking.com, I understood that if the full payment was made (which it was), I could still check in after 10:00. I arrived at 10:17, got Wi-Fi from a nearby hotel, and called the property. The rude receptionist answered, and rather than helping, she said, "It's not my problem you're late." We explained we were tourists and it would be difficult to find another hotel last minute, but she was incredibly disrespectful. We had no choice but to find another place to stay. The next morning, we returned to the property to discuss the situation calmly, only to be met with more rude and unprofessional behavior. She yelled at us, refused to allow us to check in for the remaining nights, and denied any refund.Avoid this hostel unless you want to be treated poorly!

Great value for money in a good location. Perfect for solo travellers. Exceptionally clean and much better than what I expected in terms of comfort and overall niceness of the room. Even had access to a shared terrace. I usually never book rooms with separate/shared toilets, but this one was totally fine.Entrance was a bit difficult to find or not as visibly marked, had a bit of difficulty checking in and contacting reception when I arrived as they are available only at specific times. Nothing that wasn't easily solved though. Not sure how well soundproofed the rooms were, but it was generally quiet at my floor and nobody complained about noise from my end.

Excellent hotel. It is a pity that this Google rating does not correspond to the quality and level of service. We were passing through Dusseldorf for two days and chose this hotel on Booking. Me and my wife decided to stay at this hotel and did not regret it at all!The hotel is very clean, nice bathroom, great vibes, it’s cozy. Great location near the train station, shops, the city center can be easily reached on foot.It is important that check-in at the hotel is possible until 10 pm. This is written on Booking, we managed to check in at 9:40 pm. The hotel does not have a permanent reception, all guests are given a key that can enter the building, as well as to their room. The hotel employs caring staff, always ready to help or answer questions.I also liked the breakfast, delicious! Thank you, greetings from Armenia!

Please Read review before booking here.I have made the mistake of not reading all these reviews and I booked to stay here for the night but the train arrived late and I was not able to check in.The problem is not only here, but they are very rude in dealing with your emergency situations and can’t really help you, only take your money.I booked for two night, I was not able to check in for the first night because I arrvied late, however I went there to check in when the next day but the refused to let me check in now!! I payed for two nights and I couldn’t even stay for one night! They would not refund nothing even though it was not my mistake, I booked this in a hurry because there was a Strike in Germnay and all trains will be stopped for 2 days so I had to get in the train and get here very late!!I called them even that night to help but they wouldn’t help and stay there for extra hour for me or leave me the keys outside or do anything to help me. Even when I asked for refund they refused.Very inhuman of them, they have no feelings for people in situations like this, they only want to get as money as they can from people.I travel a lot and never had such experience in hotels of my life, this was the biggest mistake I have ever done booking here.I would never forgive you for this.

Worst Hotel experience I ever had. And the rudest receptionist and manager. I arrived at the hotel around 03:00 pm and I stayed downstairs trying to contact the reception through the telecom but to no avail. I waited for 20 minutes in the rain and sent several messages through the app until a resident of the building entered and opened the door for me while the receptionist responded to my messages through the app After I made my way to the hotel at the 5th floor by myself. And after I finally managed to arrive at the reception desk, the receptionist asked me to pay 6 euros in cash for the city taxes. But I did not have any cash in Euros, so I offered to pay him by credit or debit card. He refused, saying that his manager would not accept that. So I offered to withdraw some cash later and pay him after i enter my room because I needed to use the bathroom since i’m a colon patient and I had an emergency. So I asked him to allow me to use the bathroom and change my clothes that were fully wet because of the rains, and then go down to withdraw some cash to pay him the 6 euros, but he also refused, saying sorry it's my boss desecion. So I offered him 10 dollars instead of 6 euros, as I happened to have some dollars in cash with me since my last trip, but he also refused that and called his manager and explained the matter to her, but she in turn refused to give me the room key before I pay the city tax amount in cash. But he passed the phone to me so I could talk to her, and I offered to pay by any means other than cash, and they actually had a debit machine. I offered to go into my room and pay later, and I offered to leave my passport with the reciptionist until i pay him this small amount of cash, but she refused and insisted and did not give me a chance to speak and startedshouting at me saying “Let me speak.” I told her, “No, I am here as a guest, and I am traveling from my country to your country for the sake of tourism, so you have to treat me better than this Ans you have to find me a solution and give me a reason to come back yobthe city not only to your hotel, so please let me ise my room and I'll pay you the 6 euros in a few, but unfortunately, she started screaming, saying, “I am not your wife to talk to me this way.” We will not give you the room and wait for the police to come and you are not welcome here. I tried to convince her again, but to no avail. She was very stubborn with me and called me with some racist words, specific to my race and religion. The receptionist was extremely rude to me and eventually expelled me. I asked them for the amount that was deducted from me in exchange for booking the room, but they told me to contact the booking app customer service, So I had to leave and booked a room in the hotel next door. And guess what, I paid the city tax to them via card and they treated me with the utmost sophistication and civility and received me with a big smile despite the failure of the payment process through the application.

This hotel refused to let us check in as I am not 23 years old. And the manager asked me to cancel the booking. I immediately said that I would be charged the full cancellation fee, but he said that nothing would be charged because it was a valid reason.I cancelled the booking on the app and immediately appealed the penalty. But this hotel tried to charge my card! It's rude and disrespectful to the customer. Not only did they make up an idiotic rule about 23 years old, but they also cheat their visitors.

Terrible hotel. At 19:00 we arrived at the hotel with a reservation for a room for two, but they refused us, explaining that we were under 23 years old. They said that they cannot cancel the reservation, but if we cancel, money is withdrawn from the card for the full cost of the reservation.

I had an excellent stay at this place and most of all... the staff where so adorable made me feel like home! They have different types of rooms and the beds where very comfortable. Probably you won't get the first impression by standing downstairs through the entrance, but ones you are inside you can see its very clean and well maintained and it's beautiful view from the terass!I definitely recommend this place

Near the station, clean room and good service. The only downside is that the reception closes at 22, so you need to make sure to be able to check in earlier than that time

This holds the winning spot for worst customer service. The receptionist angrily yelled at us, resold our booking, and kept our money. It was shocking. It's hard to put into words how we were treated. I'd strongly recommend finding any other accommodation. When we arrived, there was, I thought, a homeless man sleeping at the doorway of the building. Now, I realize this was likely a guest at the hotel who decided it would be more pleasant to stay outside the hotel...
